  • His Royal Majesty Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Adekanbi Oladega, the 4th Olu of Agboyi Address at British Red Cross headquarters London .
I bring good tidings from Africa, particularly the giant of them all, Nigeria. Lagos, the beautiful city of the British colony, and Agboyi, the ancient town with a strong history of the British footprint.
The British Red Cross is known for breaking records at the most critical period, but I guess I have learned something from the British Red Cross, which is leaving your comfort zone to put a smile on the face of others.
I must say this, for the purpose of record, that this is the first time I will be celebrating the Eid-l-Fitr celebrations outside my country . As a king, the entire Agboyi and Odogun kingdom approved my journey to the land of those who have brought them happiness and joy at the most critical period.
I am sure celebrations will be happening back home for the Eid-l-Fitr celebrations, but for me, no celebration is bigger than my presence in the midst of those angels who will fly into any continent to bring them joy and happiness.
The people of Agboyi, would have loved to be here in numbers but the timing involved was too short. Hence, this beautiful royal entourage from Agboyi and Odogun community are here to say thank you and to also pledge our support to the Red Cross at any point in time.
We shall be ready to give you a plot of land to build your office extension since Agboyi is less than 10 minutes' drive to the capital of Lagos.
I want to say that this visitation will mark the beginning of the new beginnings between the people of Agboyi kingdoms and the British Red Cross.
Finally, I am happy to inform you that, during my reign as the 4th Olu of Agboyi kingdom, vehicular movement has been constructed by the federal government of Nigeria, and by the special grace of God, your next visit will be through your vehicle instead of the usual canoe. I drove the first vehicle into Agboyi island on the 15th of March 2024. A click on TH-cam will show you the beautiful moments.
On behalf of the beautiful and amazing people of Agboyi and Odogun Community, I say thank you, British Red Cross.
Accept my Royal warmest wishes from the people of Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Kosofe LGA Lagos Nigeria. Ire lo ju owo nri. Ipade wa bi oyin lase Edumare.
    Ase n'tedumare!
    Signed:
His Majesty Oba (Engr.) Monsuru Abimbola Adekanbi Oladega,
Olu of Agboyi Kingdom Agboyi-Ketu LCDA Kosofe LGA, Lagos Nigeria.
