- Typically, football stars don't transition their fame on the football field to nab a spot on a morning talk show, but Michael Strahan certainly isn't typical. After scoring acclaim in the NFL, Strahan joined "Live with Kelly and Ripa" as a co-host from 2012 to 2016, before moving on to "Good Morning America," where he'd been serving as a correspondent since 2014. Strahan's announcement caught some people by surprise, including, possibly, Kelly Ripa herself who was noticeably absent in the following days after Strahan's departure. I really don’t care for Kelly. She seems very self-centered and Heaven Forbid any anecdote doesn’t revolve around her or her family! She had the biggest temper hissy fit when Michael said he was leaving! Ugh! Seriously! If a man had taken a couple of days off “to process all the changes” happening to his show WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE, his butt would’ve been so fired!!!! And yet, Kelly was able to keep her job. She is a pure narcissist! 🤬 If the world doesn’t revolve around her, then anyone else’s life and problems don’t mean diddly squat!
Yes and now she in that gritty husband of hers will want to on the rights of the revived All My Children she stunk as an actress when she was on there
I would believe Michael any day over Kelly. He seems more genuine. In my opinion Kelly is a phony.

My radar and intuition points to an inappropriate relationship between the two. She acted like the gf that was dumped. For a married woman, she was too ‘touchy-feely’ on camera with Michael and as a viewer I felt uncomfortable. Imagine what went on behind closed doors!😬 Definitely gave affair vibes!

That’s exactly what happened...
If you watch when he first started on the show the two of them would flirt with each other all morning long to point it seemed like they needed to get a room... The sexual tension between them on camera was palpable, but towards the end right up until he announced he was leaving everything changed, they became cold to each other & it seemed like they didn’t like each other at all.
But anyone who goes back to watch them in his first couple seasons on the show can clearly see it, they definitely had a thing for each other.
I like Michael Strahan. He seems to have a great personality;Never like Kelly Ripa she’s a walking skeleton that tells Lame jokes not funny at all I am surprised that show is still on. It was lame even when Reggie’s was a host. He tell his lame jokes and look silly after the so called punch line .like Michael on GMA funny great personality

Kelly can be a little annoying when she talks a lot, but Strahan was a jerk the way he left and not telling her. Plus I think it is in his mind that he thought he was only a side kick, and not a partner.
John Gialanella jr: If you think she talks alot; to each his own. However, as a Libra like she is, I see many similar personality traits that she and I share. We both connect with people very quickly and, can start a conversation with anyone without feeling awkward. From what I remember, it was Strahan who wasn't necessarily comfortable being transparent about his personal life, like the show's history and continued format, requires. FF to now, he's being paid more money for less work on Good Morning America, but, I'm pretty sure that show's fan base is MUCH smaller than "Live!'s." 🙄🙄🙄
