Ripa was upset because she wasn't told ahead of time that Strahan was going to leave to go to GMA. Why was it so important for "Miss Diva" to be told that Strahan was leaving? If I made $10-$20 million a year for doing nothing much more than having a chat and interviewing some guest each morning I wouldn't be complaining too much
Not a fan of her but she was the senior host and it was unconscionable that she was not informed about Strahan's leaving the show. Can you imagine, back in the day, if Johnny Carson wasn't informed that Ed McMahon was leaving?

I can't stand Kelly. She currently steals the show from Ryan. I'm sick of her stories being told every day about something from the past in her family or whatever. She talks in slow motion and you can see that Ryan sometimes looks annoyed and bored. She reminds me of my old grandfather who loves to tell stories in detail. Can't stand her.
Yea-I've always wondered about her speech--she seems to have these "pauses" where she is trying to find the words to say but needs time to find them--there's a neurological condition called aphasia (Broca's)-wonder if she has a mild form of that

Have you been to a taping? I haven't, because she shoots her show and both lives in New York. If you live in , say, Denver, to Houston, can't just go to the studio and watch a taping. They have took at in on TV.

I recently started watching a lot news programs on youtube because the interviewers actually LISTEN to their guests! They often let them finish their answers even if they take a long time and ramble a bit, on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS etc they only have a 2 minute segment so it's go go go and they interupt and put a spin on everything.
It appears to me that Kelly is infatuated with herself and the cancellation of that show should have happened years ago. She can be downright rude to her guests offering her opinion {and certainly our personal views on things are different} but she comes across holier than thou and as though she is the authority. I would suggest she educate herself before she speaks. She is grossly misinformed regarding certain topics. AND.... she may as well have a mirror on the desk so she can look at herself for the entire show because clearly checking herself in the teleprompter every other minute isn't enough!

I have followed Kelly's career since she came on the scene all those years ago on All My Children.she was a sweetheart back then and I find it sad to see what she has come to, an arrogant and bitter woman who is not liked by many.
from what I read about her she dropped out of Camden Community college after a semester and ended up in ABC studios in NYC as a secretary-and got a walk-on part on AMC and was able to parlay that into a full-time role-she was very very lucky and unfortunately, as the part got bigger so did her ego

Most viewers liked Regis Philbin, not so much Kathy Lee Gifford and everyone thought Ripa would be an improvement. Ripa is a different cat altogether, quite possibly a sociopath with severe narcissistic tendencies. It's hard to watch her behaviour, she doesn't do interviews she does Q and A's all by herself. Surprised Seacrest hasn't found a better gig.
I stopped watching when Regis left. She doesn't seem very genuine and now I have less interest with Seacrest on it. I do agree with her about the Bachelorette show, that show is gross in a big way! 😝

Rip Regis, I miss you so much and you made the show and even though I still so young when I first saw it you made it epic. As for Michael Strahan, back in the day I didn't like because of me being a born and raised and always will be a Dallas Cowboys fan and him playing with one the Boyz rivals, the New York Giants. It took him retiring from the Giants and NFL and being on the show with Kelly for me to start having respect for him and putting rivalry out the door, especially during the drama when he left the show for Good Morning America and I'm still a fan of him today. Kelly Ripa however, I can't wait for her to retire to be honest she's so rude to almost everyone!
Watching the show if it is not about Kelly she will turn the table and make it about her. I will never forget Regis last show and he was walking out and Kelly made the jester of fake tear throwing and their were no tears at all. The rumor was she was plotting to get Regis off the show for years before he left. The way she treated Strayhand spelling sorry. The way way she treated him was beyond normal. It showed everyone who she really is and it was not nice. I stopped watching after he left witnessing he behavior, the head of the network should have fired her on the spot.
It's clear she didn't like Regis--Regis didn't talk to her backstage because he wanted the banter on the actual show to be fresh and spontaneous and felt that could be lost if they talked beforehand--whereas Ripa is a chatterbox 24 hrs a day and took Regis' silence off-camera to be "aloofness". Notice also when Regis left in November 2011 he essentially wasn't mentioned again and Regis has said he never talked to her again or saw her again socially (yet he and Kathie Lee remained close friends right up until his death)

If you notice, she's always sharing photos of her and her family vacationing somewhere exotic with Mark's family of Harvard-educated doctors or of her (and her half-naked anorexic body in a skimpy bikini) and her insulated immediate family unit, with Mark and her priviledged, spoiled kids, on a yacht somewhere. She never shares ANY photos of herself and HER mother and father, and NEVER, IF EVER, mentions her sister or her nephew, Sergio. Guess she doesn't entertain them much in her 25 million dollar NY townhouse or her Hamptons abode or treats them to lavish vacations in Greece. She also tends to prefer the company of the NY-based "movers and shakers", such as the Seinfelds, the Gelmans, the Anderson Coopers and Andy Cohens...guess she now views herself as TOO IMPORTANT AND WEALTHY to hobnob with her Berlin, NJ "homies" and HER family or to include them as an integral part of her life. from what I read about her she dropped out of Camden Community college after a semester and ended up in ABC studios in NYC as a secretary-and got a walk-on part on AMC and was able to parlay that into a full-time role-she was very very lucky and unfortunately, as the part got bigger so did her ego

Most viewers liked Regis Philbin, not so much Kathy Lee Gifford and everyone thought Ripa would be an improvement. Ripa is a different cat altogether, quite possibly a sociopath with severe narcissistic tendencies. It's hard to watch her behaviour, she doesn't do interviews she does Q and A's all by herself. Surprised Seacrest hasn't found a better gig.

Rip Regis, I miss you so much and you made the show and even though I still so young when I first saw it you made it epic. As for Michael Strahan, back in the day I didn't like because of me being a born and raised and always will be a Dallas Cowboys fan and him playing with one the Boyz rivals, the New York Giants. It took him retiring from the Giants and NFL and being on the show with Kelly for me to start having respect for him and putting rivalry out the door, especially during the drama when he left the show for Good Morning America and I'm still a fan of him today. Kelly Ripa however, I can't wait for her to retire to be honest she's so rude to almost everyone!

I will never forget Regis last show and he was walking out and Kelly made the jester of fake tear throwing and their were no tears at all. The rumor was she was plotting to get Regis off the show for years before he left. The way she treated Strayhand spelling sorry. The way way she treated him was beyond normal. It showed everyone who she really is and it was not nice. I stopped watching after he left witnessing he behavior, the head of the network should have fired her on the spot.
It's clear she didn't like Regis--Regis didn't talk to her backstage because he wanted the banter on the actual show to be fresh and spontaneous and felt that could be lost if they talked beforehand--whereas Ripa is a chatterbox 24 hrs a day and took Regis' silence off-camera to be "aloofness". Notice also when Regis left in November 2011 he essentially wasn't mentioned again and Regis has said he never talked to her again or saw her again socially (yet he and Kathie Lee remained close friends right up until his death)

Her show is not really for me but I work night shift and just turn on the TV when I get home and sometimes I see just a few minutes of her show. Kelly Rippa think tries to too funny on the show & I felt like she was trying to took too much over the show once after she settles in over taking Regis it wasn't her show to take over she's too domineering & interrupts people too much & too often on the show once Regis left the show the show should've went back to being called what it was originally from the very beginning she should never have gotten her name as top Billing she's not really that great of a hostess to begin with she doesn't give their guest ample time to answer one question before she rudely interrupts them with another question

She never shares ANY photos of herself and HER mother and father, and NEVER, IF EVER, mentions her sister or her nephew, Sergio. Guess she doesn't entertain them much in her 25 million dollar NY townhouse or her Hamptons abode or treats them to lavish vacations in Greece. She also tends to prefer the company of the NY-based "movers and shakers", such as the Seinfelds, the Gelmans, the Anderson Coopers and Andy Cohens...guess she now views herself as TOO IMPORTANT AND WEALTHY to hobnob with her Berlin, NJ "homies" and HER family or to include them as an integral part of her life. She CHOOSES to forget from where she came!
