- This weekend I went to circuit Spa Francorchamps for the 2014 'Granturismoevents Spa'. A great event which many supercars! I had the opportunity to record a very rare and unique Gumpert Apollo Sport on the track. This car was actually too loud for the track! The driver got a couple of black flags unfortunately..

Epic find!!! The Apollo is a car that still eludes me. I think this is the first video I have seen of an Apollo around the track.

That sound is absolutely awesome! 😊 It totally gives me the chills at any speed.
Unfortunately I don't have the spare change to get such a monster. I am usually not a real car enthusiast, but that machine could win me over just by being different.

In spite of its stellar stats I have difficulty falling in love with the Apollo, there are things about its styling that just don't grab me. One thing that I do like is the bearclaw raked moulding on the doors. Everything on this car screams I am here for function not form, so any changes in shape will invariably degrade perfomance.
It is mostly the back end of the car that I don't like, the rear diffuser looks like something that you would pull behind a tractor. The rounded rear edges of the car prevent vacuum build-up behind the Apollo, but it clashes with the sharp angular look of the spoiler.
With its no nonsense approch to engineering it is easy to tell that it is a German car.

Sounds some what like the Agera R :)
Probably because they both have v8. The Agera has a higher pitch v8 sound and shifts very quickly.
People with taste know this car is awesome I grew up playing forza and this was my favorite car. Orange is such a nice look same with blue
