This has nothing to do with him asking out for a play. Chris Ballard's Job is on the line. Go look at the last drive of the game, 45 seconds left, down 3, no timeouts, he scrambles 20 yards could easily get out of bounds, he doesn't even make an effort or look like he knows he needs to get out of bounds, but he essentially ended that game all on his own, with "0" situational awareness. Die hard Colts fan, not mad at Pat for telling the truth. Sit him!
Not pissed at you as a Colts fan, truth hurts. It was a massive risk to take him, high risk high reward or no reward. He's a kid and kids have to learn, some the easy way some well obviously not easy.
I was so mad when he got drafted. That pick made no sense at all
@@SunniMerlot honestly hoped we would have traded back at that point; HOWEVER, I am not a decision maker and we can all play armchair QB.
@@JosephWilliams-me9sf I hoped the same thing. It’s hard being a colts fan. Free agency comes and we never make the big move, and now it’s gonna be a QB issue the moment Joe retires and we will have several years of waiting on someone to be good again
@@SunniMerlot we will sit just under good enough to topple the Texans while watching the Jags and Titans fight with others be the worst teams in the NFL.
@@SunniMerlot The pick made sense *at the time* after considering where they were drafting, who at QB was left in that Draft, Shane Steichen's history w/QBs, and how badly the Colts needed a QB in 2023.
First off us Colts fans could never be mad at you. For two you spoke THE TRUTH yesterday. We're HAPPY you voiced the opinion the majority of us fans have felt this season. Though this should have happened Sunday when they still had a chance to win the game and division
As a colt fan I ain't mad at anything you said, I 100% agree with you. I just wish this change happened sooner.
And then what? Win some more games? Get a meh draft pick? Get blown out in the playoffs? Yeah. Sounds great.
@soulknife20 if you were a true colts fan you would know what other qb move they made today. That guy seems more like a viable qb for our future than Richardson. Besides who wants a qb that needs breaks and says that he's not a qb who throws the ball? I mean we have rb we need a qb who throws.
@@johnnysouza5601No true Scotsman fallacy for one thing. Try again bud
@@johnnysouza5601And what other QB move? I haven't found anything. Care to elaborate, little buddy?
@@johnnysouza5601You mean Jason Bean? The other glorified running back? I watched him in college for 2 and a half seasons. He's not an NFL QB. Just wow, bro.
There’s something about that Flacco, I trust’em.
Thank you for your service on this issue Pat
Both Minshew and Flacco made that Indianapolis offense look better than Richardson has ever come close to. Getting hurt is the only thing AR's done with consistency. "It's a copycat league". The Colts looked at what Pittsburgh is doing with a professional QB instead of an athlete under center.
This Colts Fan ain't Upset With your Comments you hit it Right on the Nail and We Respect you Brother for Holding Colts players Accountable!!!
Can’t wait to see Flacco with a healthy Jonathon Taylor. That play action should lead to some great down field success. Flacco played great WITHOUT JT his first couple starts
As a Colts fan. I appreciate your honesty yesterday
Lmao the end was great
Those "un-athletic" NCAA pocket QBs are 10x better in the NFL than RBs that threw in NCAAF. 👍
Example: Brock Purdy
@@dailyclips3000 purdy ran a lot in college not a great comparison
Exactly. Guys who rely on their athleticism like Jalen Milroe won’t last as quarterback.
as lamar jackson@@georgelucas2571
Everyone looking for a Lamar Jackson
I LOVE THE MOVE AND BEEN SAYING WE NEED TO DO IT FROM THE THIRD GAME.. I KNEW IT WAS A REASON I LOVE MY COLTS AND BOSSMAN! (IRSAY).. LET'S GO FLACCO!
Sometimes it’s best not to say too much to the media lol Richardson just needs to grow up and learn from it.
If they were going to bench him they should have done it at halftime Sunday.
Now we still won't know if he is ever going to figure it out.
Joe flacco has the opportunity to do something funny
Yea like a hundred pushups as soon as the game ends like 22 year old stud
He won't. He might win a few games, but the Colts are still gonna be meh.
Shouldn't this quarterback understand that tapping out is unacceptable by the time he graduates high school
they knew he wasn't ready when he was drafted, but this was also his 10th start gimme a break
Being Tired only 10 games in is a very large red flag 😂
Indy guy, colts fan here. What colts fans would be mad at you for what you said? That’s ludicrous. You were spot on.
Anyone who thought Richardson was going to be anything should never talk ball again
Clowns like u think they know football
He's injury prone too. Flacco is a dawg, an old one but he has seen every defense and he can still throw a ball way down the field.
And not take the Colts anywhere because that o-line is kind of terrible right now and the defense is bad.
Very stupid move by the Colts and this is exactly why they remain in QB purgatory
They tapped out. Lol.
Why do these teams keep drafting QBs that were trash in college and never accomplished anything at the lower level?
Unfortunately decision was made one half too late
I remember when Matt Stafford tore his shoulder and still had a game winning drive. He could barely throw
Why does Schefty not want to break news on the progrum?
A player's daughter died. Not exactly fun news to break.
Because he's paid to do it elsewhere
The 2nd option. He never breaks news on the program.
Not arguing that, but he heavily implied it was a trade on the call back
I only played HS football. I played offensive and defensive line (tackle and end). I have Asthma. I never once thought about walking off the field for a breather and I wasn’t even getting paid 😂
Richardson is CRAZZZY for that lol.
Good for you people don’t realize how difficult it is to have asthma yet play sports 👏🏼
As a colts fan i back Pat with what he has said over AR tapping out. We had Luck who never quit and is why i am a colts fan. But now we have someone who is limitedly athletic, with a weak passing game. Teams can overcome those things if there is a Good leader with Heart and AR may have heart, but a moment of weakness matters in the NFL people notice that and the team feels that
Lol weak passing game. It’s his second year in the league bro
Actually Luck did quit.. not on the field but for good
@@FreddieWilliams-b9bYeah. I get why he did it, but what Luck did was waaaaay worse than what AR did.
I think Flacco gives them the best chance to win on Sunday so it seems reasonable to me.
Colts franchise quarterback was Andrew luck they messed that up they won’t hit on again anytime soon 1st round picks for qbs already have a bust rate of 50% the other 25% is ending up like alex smith or a jared goff
Jared Goff balling right now though lol
Yupp luck would've been 35 and dealing with JT and Pitt
@@kdawg2472ya but not on the team that drafted him.
Flacco has a renewed hunger, since losing his job to Lamar;
and he obviously still loves the game and the money.
He's a SB MVP, who made 125mil. and has played back-up for at least 4 teams since.🤑
There's probably a reason for that
He needs a babysitter to make sure he goes to bed and gets his rest
Yup he is eating to many sugary chocolate chips and candy you know weed will do that
He’s not a starter !?Flacco the way to go !! 👍👏🏈
Tank for Arch, let’s start it early. Let Richardson play! 😁
I support this
Arch has another year..
That's two more years on JT and Nelson and Pitt...
trade em, can’t beat an Elite QB without another Elite QB
I soo agree 👍🏻
Throwing 2/15 n asking for a break is crazy
The problem is he was drafted to a team in a relative weak division who was ready to win now as raw prospect who needed reps and development. The Colts were impatient with him.
His plays aside, you can't develop mentality.
@@athras8822 I think sitting behind a Pros Pro for a few years could help him with the intangibles. AR whole career he's been better than everyone just because of his talent. I doubt he's ever had to truly work on things because he's always been able to just be a freak athlete.
@@athras8822You can develop a mentality. Just need to be put in the right situation with the right people.
Ronnie Lott looking at this man in shame.
Sitting out a play is nowhere near the crime that last drive against the Texans was. That's a QB that gives you no chance to win.
Man, Richardson is not having a good week.
That's an understatement
Has anyone checked in with David Goggins to get his opinion on the tap out?
Flacco still has 12 more completions and 3 more TD's than AR even though he's spent most of the year sitting on the bench.
He’s terrible. Total bust. Cope
I don't follow the Colts closely, but I try to somewhat keep up with all NFL stuff.
But I have Pittman on my Fantasy team and also had him last year. He's a starter on my team when Richardson is out, and on the bench with AR starts. The difference is that obvious.
