People always use their pomades on completely dry hair, but I find I get a MUCH better reaction with semi damp hair. Am I alone in this? It seems like everyone suggests dry, but I feel like the opposite is optimal. At least for water based pomades..
Good vid. I have a question. Is the consistency of the product sort of sticky when you're rubbing it in your hands and hair? I ask because I'm beginning to think I got an expired batch I bought off Amazon.com. The only difference is that mine's the Super Hold *brown container*. Another reason is because the one's i've seen from super hold they apply it nice and smooth like it was hair gel, and when i use mine i can feel it pulling my hair. :@ hope to hear from you.
When you apply this stuff your hair when it is completely dry, it's gonna pull like a mother f*&^$% (especially the super hold). I damp my hair with a little water and then apply the product and it makes it much easier to put in. Just don't put too much water otherwise you will get no hold.
im just getting into pomade through my primo and damn bro i love your videos very inspirational that clean look! i have really thick stubborn hair what would you recommend for me? I want to try suavecito firme hold and layrite super hold or is that not a good idea
Suavecito pulls your hair like a bitch. Get layrite super or cement they're both really great pomade but like all waterbased pomade they don't have any shine
Jerry Gomez Almost universally. Layrite and American Crew are really just trying to emulate the petroleum and mineral oil based pomades. That's why the African American guys love their Dax and Murrays- though I also use the latter when Brylcreem just doesn't give enough hold. But oil based products can cause acne, residue on clothing or furniture, and are a hassle to get out.
That shit sucks use clear ice from sally or walmart has a gel that has a neon green top with a blue comb it it that shit sleeks hair back tight and you dont meed all thatbpomade greasey ass greaser shit.

Total agree
Try adding some water on top to make the pomade slicker, that's what I do
Damn I bet this dude goes through 4oz in one week!
The shine is actually pretty great! Even after applying on dry hair

Kool Reviews Brother.
How much does pomade last if you have very thick crazy hair
+Jerry Gomez You're better off with something oil-based.
+Pabler Arav is oil based a better hold than water based

Nice review, I love this stuff.
ingredients?
Thanks for this video man really help on my perspective on layrite
My hair in the back always sticks up no matter how much pomade i use can you help me please
Let it grow
It's really good hair products
Why do people say it smells like crayons? I smell vanilla too.
All layrites suck on really thick hair. I use a cheap gel to hold my hair down and then I layer the top with layrite to give it size and hold.
Use super hold or the blue can
I think I seen you today in glendora.
Thanks for the video
MAKE ANOTHER VIDEO!!!
no volume, head like dinosaur egg
