Try adding salt after water has boiled as adding it before makes the water require more time to boil due to phenomenon called boiling point elevation yummy pasta tho
You are wrong ,with salt added to water it boils quicker due to the "saturation point" and molecular change. No such thing as "boiling point elevation", unless your on top of a mountain- but still wouldn't make sense.
@@cabc8528 solvent with solute (water and salt) will always have a higher boiling point and lower freezing point than pure solvent (unsalted water) however in this case it’s 1 degree Celsius at most which really won’t make a difference.
Agreed! There's really no point in adding oil, tbh. Science has proved that the sauce will just slip off of the pasta. Honestly, adding oil in the water before adding the pasta is more of a habit/cultural thing. It was passed down by parents to their children 🤷🏽♂️

I'm sorry but the pasta is dry. For me in a setting like this (with only one stove) the last thing it should be done was to boil the pasta, then transfer the pasta directly to the sauce pan (with no strainer) and reheat the whole thing. On the side note, you can use the pesto's oil instead of adding the olive oil to cook the garlic. Peace out!
This dish is packed with so much oil...I wouldn’t add oil to the water as you want the pesto to be absorbed by the pasta. Instead of dumping the pesto sauce in the pan, just add as needed once the pasta is cooked. Capers and artichoke hearts go well with this dish when cooking the chicken and no garlic is needed.
@@dayangmarikit6860 yes but many cooks will agree that when you want to add flavor to the pasta, oil (of any kind) will make the pasta not absorb the sauce instead of just using water! 🙂

Most chefs agree that there's no point in adding oil to the pasta water.
I don't agree with those chefs
Nah
they say that the sauce will just slide off

is it okay to use vegetable oil for this?
Hi! How many persons can it serve?
uhhh there was no need to add oil to the pesto as it has oil already in it

Need ba talaga na olive oil? Or any oil?
Was scared while the chicken is being cut, I mean you might cut your fingers on that hold, just saying.
Agree to this
Pag po 500grams na pasta 2packs po na sauce gagamitin?
Hi, may I know Kung good for ilang person ito?? Thanks
Yung isang pack ng pesto sauce na pinakita nya pwede sa 400 grams ng spaghetti. Roughly 3-5 people ang kaya nya pakainin, depende sa takaw.
Thank you for sharing, subcribed ( :
Awesome, thank you!
Hi, how many servings does this do? :)
2-3 servings I guess? Because it's 250g of pasta. Still depends on eaters.
Looks good. But why do you add oil to cook the pasta?
So that it won't stick to the pan and to the pasta itself.
Looks a bit dry that chicken 😏 spaghetti looks delicious 😋 more sauce? 🤔
Anong brand po ng frying pan na gamit niyo?

hello po, ano pong lasa ng pesto sauce baka po kasi pag nag luto ako niyan ma ignorante kaming lahat dito sa bahay HAHAHA.

Pwede po ba regular oil or butter kung walang olive oil?
Yes po
Oh my god!

Sana nilagay mo sa malaking lutuan/ kawali para d ka nahihirapang haluin ang pasta.
Is the sauce ok to eat when your are on a diet?

I love this recipe. Just one comment - remove your accessories when mixing food and cooking. Underneath that ring is way too much dead skin and dirt.
I mean; the pasta will get coated by the oil and wont absorb that chicken juice and sauce;
Yeah, i know that olive oil isnt that harmful in our body, but i think you put a lot of it in making a sauce. 😬
Man that's a dull knife.

hi
Way too much oil.
While I think this was a decent/easy recipe, the way the person drained the pasta and added the chicken to the pan made me want to pull my hair...
🤣😂🤣👏👏

I personally dont like the taste of clara ole instant spag sauces 🤮 (it is just me)
Do not cook pesto sauce, basil leaves is not good with heat because it will turn black.
Pesto sauce the last thing you put in add some sun dried tomatoes and a few cherry tomatoes
My lovely fellow, you can't put oil into the water to cook the pasta 😭😭😭🤌🤌🤌🤌
Please don't do that!
