Love it how these lists are COMPLETELY different :) And yet neither of you listed Bram Stoker's Dracula, Sonic Chaos, Alien 3, Jungle Book, Lion King, Aladdin, Prince of Persia, Bart vs. the Space Mutants, Indiana Jones, Ultima IV - Master System really had great games :)
Many titles existed both on the Game Gear as well as its more technologically advanced older brother (and on the Game Gear as well). Naturally, they generally weren't as good - but they were still there.
The Master System was supported right in to the mid 1990s. Nintendo were still making SNES games for a while after the release of the N64. I miss the days where companies would support 2 and sometimes 3 systems at the same time each with a level of affordability for everyone.
The graphics are significantly better than that off the NES, but still some how I find the games disappointing, lots of polish, but very little substance IMHO. A few exceptions Sonic 1 and all the wonder boy games....basically, quality platformers, which the NES had in abundance.
SMS kept getting ports of games well after the SNES came out. MK was released for four consoles in 1993, SNES, SG, Game Gear and Gameboy. The Master System port was based off of the Game Gear version and came a year later. Of course the game was originally released in arcades in 1992. In the early console war days there was more overlap between generations than there is today. NES still saw new games as late as December of 94 and the SNES came out in the US in 91.
Whenever i see master system I think Game Gear cause its the same console lol. Never had a MS but always had a Game Gear, theyre the same games basically but better resolution on MS. Sonic Chaos was way too low on this list though, that's universally viewed as a top 5 game. Sonic Triple Trouble is the best Game Gear/SMS game ever though, by a very wide margin. I mean I still put it in my top 5 Sonic games today, as many do. It's truly 1 of the best games of the entire 90's. When I saw Sonic 1 at #2 I assumed Oh Ok, Triple Trouble is 1 great. And it wasn't? I remembered wait, Triple Trouble was never officially released on SMS! The version we all have today was never officially made by Sega!
I tjink on a technical level the SMS wss slightly better in the graphics department. Certain games just looked 16 bit instead of 8. Now the Nes of course won the Sms didn't have as many games nut the games thru had were more quality.
The Master System had more vibrant colors than the NES.

As a grown-up, I can sort of understand how my mum thought this was "horrible noise".
Black Belt foi o que eu mais joguei
Wait these games were on the master system? A lot of these were on the Genesis?
Many titles existed both on the Game Gear as well as its more technologically advanced older brother (and on the Game Gear as well). Naturally, they generally weren't as good - but they were still there.
The Master System came out in 1986. How are there games on here from 1996? Genesis came out in 1989.
The Master System was supported right in to the mid 1990s. Nintendo were still making SNES games for a while after the release of the N64. I miss the days where companies would support 2 and sometimes 3 systems at the same time each with a level of affordability for everyone.
Very good

6:26 é normal a tela dar bug nesse jogo?
The graphics are significantly better than that off the NES, but still some how I find the games disappointing, lots of polish, but very little substance IMHO. A few exceptions Sonic 1 and all the wonder boy games....basically, quality platformers, which the NES had in abundance.
My past is all here
What is the intro music at the beginning?
Prokofiev's "Peter and the Wolf"
Thanks.
all the laser gun games were great, not sure any here made the list
What!! I thought MK was originally released on SNES and SG. Guess you learn something new everyday..
NES still saw new games as late as December of 94 and the SNES came out in the US in 91.
alex kidd is good for an early game but its should be 15th in my opinion
Uh how bout Earthworm Jim, Boogerman, Beavis & Butthead. Last but the best was NBA JAM TE
Ghost House, Rastan, Bank Panic.....
I tjink on a technical level the SMS wss slightly better in the graphics department. Certain games just looked 16 bit instead of 8. Now the Nes of course won the Sms didn't have as many games nut the games thru had were more quality.
Thank
No Ultima IV, no Gangsters Town, no Submarine Attack.
Shame.
Surely Revive Zanoni
i have got to say SMS is neat but why did they bother with Mortal Kombat. Burn all SMS MK games they must not be seen like the tiger version
Phantasy Star em 5º? Que “sacrilégio”… Kkkkk Phantasy Star é o melhor jogo do Master System, na minha humilde opinião.
I think Dragon Crystal was better than quite a few of these.
Good video, but your order is wrong, especially the top 25.
