Don't check the scores and results in the middle of the night if you happen to wake up. I've done that sometimes and actually lost sleep if my team has done badly and the captain has blanked. I know it sounds silly since it's a free game and realistically i haven't had a chance of winning.

If I’m out with people and I don’t check scores it means I’m engaged and having fun 😅😅😅 checking scores means my weekend is dull or I’m with dullards 😂. Many bandwagons dont work out. An exception I had last season was Almiron. The start of it was him scoring two goals in a game. It just happened I needed to make a change for one of my backup midfielders the next week, so I said 'why not Almiron?' and made the change. He was then unbelievable for about 12 more weeks. I gathered loads of points from him. After the World Cup break he wasn't the same and I got rid of him mid January. So sometimes it works, though sometimes it just doesn't. Last season didnt finish great for me. At the end of GW32, I was 9,930. After GW38, I was 110k. The mistake I made was a bandwagon. I listened to the constant rhetoric about double gamesweeks for Brighton and Man City in particular. and loaded my team with their players. However, the Brighton players went completely off the boil and the City players suffered big time from Pep Roulette. Instead of sticking with the policy I'd used all season of picking players in form and playing, I let the double gamesweeks bandwagon blind me. Unlucky? Maybe. But I'll try to learn from it this season 😉
i'm a massive newcastle fan, but I still am very confident on barnes/wilson and then i've got botman benched, newcastle initial fictures are crap except for first match so i'm benching both barnes after the first match and bringing mbeumo off the bench until newcastle fictures are good again

As a Liverpool fan I'm finding it so hard to not get in any Liverpool attackers when I think our attack will be amazing this season. I just can't trust who'll start with the amount of depth we have upfront

i made 154 transfers last season. and came second in my competitive league. i won it (my mini league ) having made 150. last season i was in the top 1000 players making 154
Pep has absolutely killed the concept of a double gameweek with otherwise nailed-on players. This past season I triple captained Haaland (like I'm sure many people did) during one of City's FOUR doubles and it was a complete waste. He played all of the games in all 4 of the double gameweeks, and none of them were worth triple (or even regular) captaining him because of the rotation regime.
Even people like myself that have played 10+ years should be reseting each season. A reminder of these important guidelines is essential to maintaining a high level. Don't develop bad habits over time, reset and refresh!!
jesus foden and fernandes or balogun salah and mitoma, obviously the first is more balanced but i wouldn’t be playing balogun and it’s hard to not have salah, opinions?
he is a very good, potentially great option (if Kane stays). i would love to have him, but in a midfield of Saka, Bruno, Martinelli, Foden and Mbeumo i just cannot fit him in.
