    i think many people don't realize, most of the time looking attractive is synonymous with looking healthy, i believe for the majority of people if they stay at a healthy body fat percentage, eat a mostly non junk diet, even light exercise, shower, other basic hygiene, that will make them attractive
    from there you can boost it more by learning specific things that are perceived as attractive, hair being one such thing, hairstyle matters a lot and it can depend on things such as face shape, body shape, hair type etc.. being attractive takes effort, so don't assume that everyone attractive is just lucky!

      Ok but there is a difference between a FAT face and a full face. Excess fat is not attractive but a naturally full face can be attractive. It has to do with ratios and bone structure. If you lack those, you're also ugly but in all cases, excess fat no matter where it's located, I generally NOT attractive. It's like thick vs fat.... ppl are attracted to "thick" girls but if she's just fat, then not so much

    When I was in my 20s to early 30s, my face looked best at BMI 21, now I’m in my late 30s, a BMI of 22-23 (130-140 pounds) is the sweet spot and I look younger than my age. Higher than that, and I get jowls and puffy cheeks, lower than that, and I start to look abit gaunt. I have never in my life had a low BMI (under 20), however I did diet down to BMI 20 about 5 years ago and had a 24 inch waist for the first time in my life, but I was only able to maintain it for 2 months and my face just did not look as good!

      Thanks for sharing your story! I understand how you feel where if you lose weight, it affects your face. I felt the same way. I’m so glad I tried Sculptra because I can be the ideal bodyweight without sacrificing my face and having it look gaunt. The more facial fat, the more it fills out the face and in some cases it can disguise the aging process.

      The difference is about 500g -1kg or so when it comes to BMI 19 and 18.5.
      I had been having a ‘skinny’ problem all my life as I was classified as ‘underweight’. I was hitting 18.5 and 18.9 BMI (49kg-50kg). I had higher muscles mass ratio and lower in fat mass, hence I was often advised to gain more weight for balance and to look ‘rounder’. I’ve tried to gain weight for almost 10-15 years.
      Recently I managed to gain up to 52kg (BMI 20 - normal), but oh boy… I wasn’t the same me anymore in terms of metabolic, fitness, flexibility and appetite. I realised that I have gained the weight around my belly instead of evenly throughout my body This being I am reaching 50 years old and pre- menopausal can have an effect on fat deposit and increase in visceral fat build up. So, be careful what you wish for. Getting more fat may not be necessary healthy and balanced. I’d rather be closer to underweight. The fanny or fat is really a hard choice.

    I’ve used sculptra since 2005. I swear by it for the face. I’m about to do a neck PDO barbed thread lift because I have sagging from fascia loss as we all do, it isn’t all fat loss and it really isn’t skin. I never know why this isn’t talked about. I’ve been singing this song for years. The benefits of dissecting human cadavers is that you can’t be fooled. I’ll probably do a facelift in the next few years. Fortunately my thread lift will be free.

    Threads work best in people who don’t really need volume but just need lift in my observation…and I like that they don’t get heavy in the skin and then shift like fillers seem to, with gravity. I don’t think they are a replacement for surgery though. But great as a way to prevent it for a long time. Fillers are excellent for people with hollow temples, lips that need a little help, or a week chin…even cheekbones so long as they are up on top of the bone. Some people get these huge threads and it can look weird, just like a bad facelift looks pulled. The ones I’ve seen that look awesome are done with tons of tiny threads to build the matrix and support the skin. Your videos are very interesting. So many times have seen people who need fuller in their face from anorexia, and they don’t want it! And others with round faces who want it when their face is already too full and only needs some lift. Good topic 👍🏽

      Thank you so much for your in-depth comment. I think your observation is right on point. People who have a lot of facial fat or thick dense skin don’t really need volume so thread lifts are more suitable as opposed to those who do need more volume and can benefit more from filler or Sculptra. 👍.

I ended up doing Botox and fillers and just a little Sculptra. the fillers and Botox metabolized super fast, not sure about the sculptra, I wish I would have done just Sculptra, I am almost 60 and should have spent all that money on rebuilding my collagen. So much skin is hanging down on my face now, looks so old, it's so disheartening. This is interesting information. I think it would be good for researchers to look into the impact of cortisol and BMI and how that reflects on the face. Through most of my adult life, my BMI has been around 18-20. In the last year, I have gained weight due to chronic stress from PTSD. While my BMI is slightly higher (21-22), I have actually lost facial fat (people have told me I looked slimmer lol). I'm not yet 30, so I shouldn't have experienced too much volume loss just yet, but chronic stress does have a significant impact on the body. I recently got some cheek filler (0.5 ml on both sides) and lip filler (1 ml) to restore some of the lost volume.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      So interesting. I wonder if cortisol contributed to losing more facial fat or if it’s just from time. Even though you’re not 30 and you’re very young, there are changes that happen from early 20’s to mid 20s to late 20’s.
      I started noticing my face sliming out in my late 20’s and I was happy about that because my features were more defined, but eventually with a few more years I had more volume loss and too much definition. Thanks for sharing your story.

I have done Sculptra on someone as young as 26 years old. Micro-needling will help the texture of skin and superficial scars, like from acne but it cannot really add volume in the way filler or Sculptra can. Had considered a thread lift, until i had the dissolvable internal stitches used after a surgery. My body rejects the dissolvable internal stitches, they bump up and sometimes poke through the outer skin, fibers needing to be trimmed or pulled out. Feels picky, like fiberglass particles imbedded in the skin. The thread lifts use the same material as internal dissolvable stitches, that my body rejects. I love my thread lifts and I still look like myself , but younger. Going on year two! I'm in NYC and it was NOT expensive. I only got it after speaking with an older friend who has had it for a few years (5) and still looks great, so I dont understand why you say it doesn't last long. After lots of research this was THE BEST decision over injectables!!! I believe you are biased, plain and simply, because you do NOT have the medical training and certification in thread lifts procedures.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There is no formal certification to do thread lifts. Also I came to the conclusion about thread lifts after asking a lot of people in this field, some being aesthetic practitioners who have had threads done on themselves even say it doesn’t last. I know aesthetic providers who have gone to other aesthetic providers who actually train other practitioners on how to do threads say that it doesn’t last. One of them being my very good friend who got trained while getting threads done by a very popular and experienced trainer for threads who speaks at national conferences . Just because I don’t like the idea of thread lifts doesn’t mean they are not suitable for other people. The key is, what works you doesn’t always work for other people. I have had patients who have liked their threads lifts but most I speak to say just what I mentioned in videos, they don’t last long and they are very expensive not to mention you can get pinching of tissue. I don’t care to have them done because I don’t like the idea of pulling my skin. This is after all, MY CHANNEL and people who come on this channel are interested in my opinion on things. You can make your own video to tell others of the wonderful experience you have had with threads. It seems you are biased on thinking that just because you had a good experience with threads that you cannot even sit with the idea that others can have a different opinion of them.

      I can understand how that would be scary BUT I think that your health is more important and if you feel you should lose weight than that would be best for your health. Being overweight can camouflage the aging process. The good news is if you lose the weight and it affects your face you can always do injectables. At some point we can all benefit from it.

    This is fascinating. However ... not matter how much fat I put on my face remains thin and has NEVER once looked full after being a baby. Even as a teen I had a slim face and sucken under eye hollows :( I don't wanna lose anymore facial fat. I still look young though people think I'm 26 and I'm 32

      Thanks for sharing. Some people just have slender faces. My face is not prone to looking full either. I also had sunken under eye hollows until I did filler. You should check out my videos on Sculptra it’s really helped to give my face plumpness in the places I always felt like I lacked after a certain age.

    I keep my weight down for health purposes. The elders in my family died from diabetes and Cancer. Doctors don't even tell their patients if they are overweight! Afraid of losing them as a patient. Today if you talk about weight people call it fat shaming! No! It's about your health diabetes, Cancer, and heart disease. As Americans we eat too damn much! All the commercials you see. It's about health and trying to look your best for YOU! If people are alright with their weight that good for them and you let people do their thing! But without health you cannot do anything!!

    I’m at the high end of a normal BMI but I have a lower body fat percentage because of my years of doing serious athletics like figure skating, biking, swimming and weight training. That said, I always had a naturally round, full “baby face”. For a non-surgical treatment, my doctor recommended Ultherapy for me. I was the perfect candidate with my age and the full “baby face”. It tightened my skin AND reduced the “fat” in my face to add more definition. I know that a lot of practitioners will not recommend that treatment for people with slim faces because Ultherapy DOES reduce the facial fat, and these folks end up looking older and saggier after treatment.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi Jennifer. Thanks for sharing your story! Good to hear you had good results with Ultherapy. A lot of times people with slim faces don’t want fat loss to happen and I’ve known a few ppl who said devices like the Morpheus unintentionally targeted their facial fat, which made the skin more saggy.

  • @bnb0510
    @bnb0510 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I lost a bunch of weight and my face really started to sag. Started Sculptra 6 months ago. While I’m loving the results I had a 4th vial 4 weeks ago and feel it really kicked it into overdrive. Also, one side of my face definitely is producing more collagen. I do believe it was a little fuller already on that side prior but now it’s bothering me. Talked to injector and she said i could do more sculptra on that side or use filler. What would you do? I really don’t want to use filler but it’s bothering me. Would more Sculptra even help? At this point I really hope the process slows down on this one side. 😩

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  ปีที่แล้ว +7

      Thank you for sharing your story. If it were me I would wait a full 3 months for the results to kick in fully before deciding if you should proceed with Sculptra or filler. I’m not sure how much volume loss you have or what your age is. It could be because that was your fuller side anyways. I would follow up with your aesthetic provider in 3 months and compare your pics.

      @@NaturalInjector that would be a good video on how you deal with asymmetries and if they are worth chasing or can make things worse..especially with sculptra since the results aren't right away and if one side can show more results, maybe get more product , etc.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@bnb0510 I know it can be hard to wait but if it makes you feel better I’ve never seen someone look overdone from Sculptra, as it stimulates your own collagen. However, it all depends on the type of definition you have. I have one patient with very unique features in which we decided to stop after 2 vials and she’s in her 50’s but she is very full to her under eyes and mid cheeks and I did not want her to lose too much definition. When I say stop I meant we will continue her Sculptra but just for maintenance reasons rather than to continue to try and build. I’m sure you will be fine.

    • @NaturalInjector
      @NaturalInjector  ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@kite6864 I can possibly consider that topic but I’m not sure what the title would be. It’s hard with asymmetry because we all naturally have some asymmetry to our faces and it’s not really possible to get 100% symmetry. As we age the asymmetry shows more though.

    Dunno this is a pretty meh topic its either you wanna look sick or dont look sick. I lost alot of weight but i looked sick so you gain some, again drugs can have a big play in it and they never disclose how many people loose weight on drug use which makes you devolop eating disorders to start think that its normal to maintain. Sorry i went to europe and apparently im a size 8 there on all clothing not size 10, the stereotype on sizing is harder to tell if all clothes are made from china, i believe its okay to be up to 60kg or 65kg. Its normal. I found it was really hard to stay 58kg and the only way i could do it was heavy drug use. Its a little inhumane that alot of people expect a 20 year old and over to look like an 8 year old. It depends if your a 4ft or 6ft. Woman are as tall as men are the sizes should be equal. I will never be born with a rib cage or waist size to be 45kg like the industries advertise. You wanna know why. Because a ribcage is usually over 65cm or over naturally. Your asking for the impossible for most caucasian woman especially italian or greek. Its over the top anyway. Being a woman is overated. There is nothing glamourous about being the weight you want to be, i was tired all the time and it runs you down. Ariana grande sorry to say she reserves her energy to talk on the talk shows, when shes off the talk shows she doesnt have energy to speak. Theres nothing glamarous about it. She was fine weight when she did that show, now i can tell shes anorexic for her ethnicity, shes probabily malnourished.

      Thanks for sharing your story. I definitely agree with you that everyone comes in different sizes, shapes and height. We are not all meant to look the same. I definitely think within any racial population, there are those that are thinner, or ectomorphs, and there are people within that racial population that fall more into endomorphs.. Ariana definitely looked a little on the underweight side. The BMI that was shown to be attractive for both males and females was the same BMI, but the BMI ranges of height and weight vary for men and women because women are on average around 5 inches shorter than males and they also usually weight less than males. Women, in general, have less muscle mass and less bone mass than men.
