The issue of Somaliland as an independent country is the problem. I defend Somaliland independence solely because the OAU had decided that all colonial boundaries would be respected after independence. The English left Somaliland as an independent country. The Italians left Somalia as an independent country. These two independent countries decided to unite into one country. Somaliland withdrew support from the Union and revert to their single status. I think they have all rights to do so, based on the continental wide agreement to respect and maintain colonial boundaries. If this principle is not adhered to, Africa will be in constant ethnic war over boundaries.

The issue of Somaliland as an independent country is the problem.
I defend Somaliland independence solely because the OAU had decided that all colonial boundaries would be respected after independence.

Sudan and South Sudan wanted to have federal system and stay together despite being different ethnically and religiously but some countries in africa and in the west didn't want that to happen. Red sea is natural gift let's use together brothers and sisters with out farming one another. If we agree it is simple.
