Modest Needs is a kick-ass idea, and I'm still glad to have donated -- on behalf of the show, and for the people who need it. I've referred people to the charity.
Lots of people suck. Lots of normally "good people" can suck at very specific moments. And wealth/money can really screw with people's morality. That's one of the things about atheism... there's no such thing as a "given" when it comes to people. People are capable of anything. Nothing is off the table. So, much like everything else we do... trust, but verify.
And thank you gents, for bringing this to our attention, and not letting us find out through rumors or convictions. 👍

Potential sad news about your Charity partner... also, maybe to avoid more disappointment, I know it's difficult to get sponsors and you need them, but Hello Fresh is a very bad company, they abuse their workers the world over and are unethical with them.

I'm sad for you, and for everyone who gives to charity and is disappointed. But the fact is, the longer you spend in the NGO sector, the more likely you will encounter embezzlement. It's good to be a little suspicious of anybody close to a pot of money.
