My grandparents were born and raised in Preston, as were many generations of their families before them. They left for America in 1909 but returned to Preston for WWI, leaving for the US again almost immediately after the war was over. They spoke of Preston lovingly, and it was thrilling to watch this video and realize that almost everything shown would have been familiar to them. The video even shows a shot of a footbridge in Avenham Park where they courted and had a photo taken of themselves sitting on the footbridge! Grampa's family worshipped and served at St George the Martyr for at least four generations, so it was especially emotional to walk up on the church and see it in relation to the rest of the town. Thank you so much!
I am from Malaysia. I studied in UCLA preston 25 yrs ago. Best time of my life. I'm going back this September to see this place again before I die because it reminds me of the happiest time of my life.
Amazing how this place still manages to have a busy high street with absolutely clean streets🤯🤯.Some towns and cities I've been to in the West Midlands are just run down, boarded up shops, lots of homeless beggars and rubbish everywhere just didnt feel safe walking around.Just unbelievable seeing this 😮😮😮

Got jumped in preston, still cool though
I just want to see a city that has a club that won the first premier league
Each and every one them had looked like the intruders from Nepal with the plastic surgery in the body
Nice, but commentary could have helped
