That was the turntable I had and it was great. It was easy to use (about as easy as playing a CD), used a P-Mount cartridge so replacing the cartridge was easy, and sounded fairly good. I liked that I didn't have to touch the tonearm since I was concerned about dropping it badly on the LP/45. The only issue was when you were playing transparent LPs. I had a friend who had an LP that he wasn't able to play the full side, the stylus would come down about half-way through the side. I put it on my turntable and had the same issue. I happened to hold the record up to the light and noticed that although it looked like black vinyl, it was actually clear red vinyl. Once I knew that I figured out that the light sensor used to sense the size of the LP was passing through the LP, causing the turntable to think it was a 7" record. The solution was to manually drop the stylus on the LP, then it played perfectly, you just couldn't play it automatically. When I saw that LPs and 45s were being phased out I decided to buy a good turntable while there was a good selection. Unfortunately when I moved it didn't survive the trip. Excellent video, it was good to see that turntable again. I hope that someday Sony would release an updated version of this turntable but it is probably unlikely.
Thank you that is very generous of you! Been enjoying your videos! Your collection has had quite a growth spurt, your SEGA CDX is rare and very cool. Just bought my second SEGA CD 2. It didn’t work but I was able to fix it, just needed to clean the laser sensor. Was using the light gun to play Lethal Enforcers. Corpse Killer is such a cheesy game but I love it! I have a DIY video in the work, the best way to convert VHS to digital video. Should be coming up soon! Thanks for your support.

Sony missed the boat though. They should have had the machine scan the disc and allow you to choose a track. Thr technology existed by this time.
I love mine but the belt does need replacing often.
This one seems a little more complicated. Thanks for watching!
