@@SophieNadeau hi, just got back from there myself. First time visitor. The spirit of the place, I think, brings out the best in people. Everyone on the island is so friendly, helpful and interesting in a way that makes you think you could very easily chuck in your regular life and just come here to start anew. Wonderful feeling and thanks for your helpful video. I shall be returning there, be sure of that!

What a great video - it has stayed with me for years... I first went there to do my DoE award, and stayed in the Old Lighthouse back in 1976! No lovely pier back then, just a small boat to get from the ferry to the island - Coming home of the last ferry trip, they could not land the small boat and we were nearly helicoptered back! I went back again with my sister a few years ago, lovely pier now! My niece also worked a season about a couple of decades ago. No campsite or holiday lets back then and this video had now put it back on my to stay bucket list ago.

Thank you for sharing, that must have been an amazing experience! The pier really is lovely and I can also imagine makes it much safer for the boats to dock!

How funny that I have just watched a video on youtube where a guy flies on/off Lundy in a microlight plane 23.46

Yeah, he kept flying low to clear the sheep from the runway. I watched it last night.

    St Kilda is more remote.

St Kilda is just off the coast of Scotland- in this video I was referring to England :)
