Great video as usual and some really awesome scenery. I'll put this trail on my bucket list. Top marks for hiking with blisters too. Have you thought about filming a gear review to help new hikers get started? Your pack looks a bit heavy for a 3 day hike but could be just the weight of your snacks. Cheers Gerry
Cheers Gerry! We do have a gear review on the to do list, it'll be over on our gear guide channel when we get it done. I think my base weight for this hike was 6-7 kg and I carried 2-3l of water at a time so well under 15kg in total. My pack didn't ever feel heavy which is good considering I definitely had a few unnecessary luxury items 🤭
I wear regular Injinji's and have never had a problem until this hike, love them! I think the cause for the blisters was from changing the insoles in my boots so my foot was more than likely sitting in a different spot then usual.
@@TomsOutdoors for years, I "accepted" that blisters were just a part of hiking. Didn't always get them, but often did. Then my daughter got toe socks and I laughed at them until she gifted me toe liner and crew set a while back. Wore that once and never gone back. Haven't had a single blister since.
@@praktika1082 I've been so lucky that this hike is my only experience with blisters! And hopefully never again, if so I'll try the liner and crew version. Everyone laughs at my toe socks too but they just don't understand the blissful feeling of having each toe individually wrapped in sock 😍
Another beautifully filmed and narrated trek!
Brilliant filming guys, looks like a great place to hike and explore. Music is just perfect 👏👏

Love this vid - good camerawork and I thought Chloe was an excellent narrator
Thank you! 💚
Injinji liner toe socks under your normal socks ... No more blisters, guaranteed.

@@TomsOutdoors yeh don't knock 'em before you try 'em, I say.
Nice. All you needed was a fly rod and a second skin blister kit (Tom's should sell these). 🙂 Cheers PP
Thanks PP! We have the fly rods but did the hike out of season so we'll just have to do it again now that the trout season is back on!
