About 10 minutes ago, I heard it again as an instrumental, and when I looked at the list of songs, this one stood out as one I "didn't know". I immediately looked for other performances and came upon this one! Just beautiful. I don't know I got to be this old without knowing much about this song.

I first heard this carol on a Charlie Byrd Christmas cd. It sounds amazing done with just classical guitar. To hear this done by a choir completely blew me away. Such a beautiful piece. If you like guitar done right, listen to the Charlie Byrd version.
