You’ve seen the movie “Lord Of The Flies”…
Now showing at a cinema near you… “Lord Of The Beach Worms” starring Roger Osborne. 😀😁🤣
I do enjoy your beach fishing videos. This change/variety is also fantastic. As always both educational and entertaining! Thank you Roger.
Glad you like them!
"Hes eating my hook" savage LOL
Hi roger, have you tried using gulp's soft plastic sandworm as an alternative to compare against the real thing? I'd definitely like to see the results from a successful fisherman like you.
Ei Salvatore 😂😂
Love your estuary fishing videos Roger. Kingfish starting to arrive in close soon, reef fishing video on the cards?
Do you ever fish with mole crab...called, "sea lice" in South Africa?
There's heaps of cockles around that lake too, brilliant bait as well as an alternative to beach worms
Nice vid Roger! You've got to do a collab with Al Belissimo, you both share a similar audience on youtube :)
Is that buril lake?
Definitely not he’s based in New Zealand.
😂
Have you done any vids on pumping for yabbies and used them for bait. That would be good to see
Why not take your surf rod, and cast out a long way with. Float rig.
The lake is estuary, thought it was fresh water lake.
Does anyone remember Russell Coight😂
hi,roger. about worms? here in south africa we have a type of blood worm, also aworm called a moon worm. we catch our blood worms with a yabbie pump.moon worms tend to live in the sand around flat rockey outcrops and you have to dig for them, hope this gives you someidea of our beach worms.
roger, look up my location on your world map.richards bay kwa zulu natal, south africa.
Hi there Rodger. Can you please tell me what size hooks you use for your estuary fishing targeting bream and flathead. Thank you very much in advance. Love your shows.
Roger Can you do a episode of pumping squirt worms Please
Hi Roger, thanks a lot for another awesome video. Would you mind telling what rod size did you use for this one? TIA
That’s a beautiful spot mate What part of the system is that area wise mate nice and quiet beauitful spot to relax and wet a line @rodgersfishing are you finding the whiting population getting larger or starting earlier or the opposite down there mate ?
as an European such a lake in Australia makes me think that there may be crocodiles in there. be cautious. 👋💪
No need for concern. He’s on the south coast of NSW. Not in the far north where the crocs are.
The old lagoon house. I wonder if it ended up selling. The owners passed away a couple of year back
Hey roger do fish in wa
Fangs are out and he's eating my hook. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks for an amazing video roger!
Glad you enjoyed it
❤❤❤🏆🥇🏆❤️❤️❤️
why do you throw the stingrays away? they are delicious, you can do almost anything with them, from stew to barbecue, try it once and you will see how good they are. i wish they were so abundant here on the shore in Portugal, it´s rare to catch them, unless you are boat fishing really far of the coast.
Thanks Marcio
Malaysians eat barbecued sambal stingray wrapped in banana leaves. I tried it, it was alright.
Have you even been stung by a ray before, Roger? That's one of my fears when fishing.
No I have not been stung, I do my best to avoid the stingers
someone once told me if you ever catch a sting ray on your line to get them off the bottom just flick your line with your finger and it should scare them off the bottom
Hi Roger, which one hurts more, worm's or pistol shrimp's?
I'm concerned about sexual discrimination. Your wife (I'm assuming) is standing in the middle of a lake while you catch 'frying pans'. Fair go man. Apart from that I love your work and admire your missus for doing it with you.
John
My wife was at home in the lap of luxury
L e g e n d !
Love it 🤙
I come back to watch these videos time and time again because they are do informative from a true Master Fisherman in Roger.
Thanks Alistair 👌🎣
Unfortunately we don't seem to get those worms on the beaches in Perth - have you had much success with salted baits?
I have had good success with fish baits
@@RogerOsborneFishing maybe I'm really tired at the moment but I don't understand this answer 😞
Well if you can't get salmon you may as well get stingrays
ABS.
Another Bloody Stingray
I prefer the Salmon. I cooked some in egg and panko crumbs the other night and my guests raved about it
Makes a change from salmon
😅
Oh spoiler alert
There will be salmon in the estuary
@@geoffcohen613but interestingly I’ve never caught a salmon in that spot for over 50years so maybe not so much ) there’s juvenile salmon around.
I like these videos but there's never any decent fish caught. Id chuck all these fish back in.
I show the footage so it is realistic for people, not just highlights
