There isn’t any recovering from thirty million illegals. Im sorry to rain on the parade but you can thank your veterans who failed to uphold their sacred oath’s to defend the country from all enemies both foreign and domestic for the last four years straight while we were being invaded. There is no coming back from that. In the end we lost. They already did enough damage.

No.. the cost of labor in several other countries is cheaper compare to the United States, which is why many goods like cars, clothes, electronics, food, medicine, etc are exported to us.
If the tariffs are increased, the company pays the tariff, but then they likely wont make profit. That's why prices will increase.
The cost of labor in the United States is higher, so it's more expensive than buying things produced and exported from foreign countries.

PLEASE NOTICE THIS CNBC: I support the conservative ideals of Trump. However, Stellantis just laid off 1,100 employees today. Why? The manufacturing supply chain is not here in the US yet. Ford, GM & Tesla all called all their suppliers today who have been manufacturing parts for their cars in Mexico and told them all the plans that have cost billions to create are on hold until after Trump is office and they have time to see what he actually does. The last time Trump did this, it cost Ford over $1 billion to retool and revamp manufacturing. When a current plan is shut down, it costs over $100,000 per minute until it is solved, retooled, remanufactured. What Trump is talking about doing will take his entire Presidency to ramp up towards. Then what? Back to the flip side? We MUST stop the flipping back and forth. It is also ruining our economy. Manufactures must have time to find new manufacturers for components., and manufacturers must be given huge incentives to ramp up manufacturing here in the US. We must pass a "MAGA Supply Chain" bill to make American manufacturing great again.

God they look cute together. Dang it, I got confused on how to feel about China. It's almost like the USA people are okay, and the Chinese people are okay, and the US Government is pretty "meh", and the Chinese Government is pretty "Err, huh?". So I mean, I think we all know who the problems are.

Tariffs are re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, while the Chinese continue to grow their lead in renewables, battery technology, fusion energy research. When it comes to EVs, nobody is going to want expensive, un-stylish, boxy, complicated to maintain, expensive to fuel ICE cars when China is making 21st century marvels that sell for less, even with tariffs. BYD handily passed Tesla as the world's largest EV manufacturer. Legacy US auto is not even close.

China's dumping practices may be a strategy to weaken industries in other countries and secure a dominant position in the global market. If successful, China could then leverage control over critical resources and essential goods to exert political and economic influence. For example, China has used its control over the export of urea solution and rare earth metals to impact key industries in countries like South Korea, demonstrating how controlling vital resources can destabilize the economies of other nations.
If China’s control over essential goods and resources continues unchecked, the industries of importing countries may ultimately suffer significant damage from China's dumped exports. This could leave these countries economically vulnerable and potentially dependent on China for key resources and goods. Notably, Chinese companies often carry out dumping with strong government backing, which should not be seen merely as price competition, but as part of a broader economic strategy-essentially a form of economic warfare-designed to strengthen China’s position in global markets and foster economic interdependence. Through this approach, China could weaken other nations' industries and shape their economic futures according to its interests.
This argument is especially relevant to the United States. China’s trade strategies are already affecting American industries, and the U.S. faces an increasing risk of economic dependency on China. For instance, rare earth metals, which are essential to U.S. technology and industries, are largely controlled by China. This could result in the U.S. becoming more reliant on China, potentially compromising its economic and technological autonomy. If this issue is not addressed, the U.S. could lose significant control over its economic sovereignty and strategic independence. It is crucial to recognize that China's economic strategies are not just about market competition-they are part of a broader geopolitical challenge that could have profound implications for global politics.

China dumping in Indonesian clothing mills markets has decimated Indonesians economy that is now bleeding out 10's of thousands of jobs in that industry, and I'm observing the dots on the Kondratieff wave lines connecting both in Indonesis and .ost recently China's military generals in high level meetings with the Myanmar leaders who deposed the democratically elected leader, the next dot on Myanmar is will China's military be sent to fight the resistance fighters rebelling against the military takeover of the government, most likely China is making a pitch to use their national iterest to protect China's pipeline from rebels sabotage is the excuse to send in China's military to put down the threat.
