Hey Indonesian here from Surabaya, I manage couples of construction project in my city. We actually have tile adhesive products here in Indonesia, and I ALWAYS use them in all of our project. Using only mortar (sand and cement mixture) for tile adhesive will make ur tile prone to popping due to temperature in couple of years. Look for MU (Mortar Utama) products, I'm surr they have those in Bali

I love what you're doing, can't say I'm a fan of the tiling process - I know it's failed in certain applications before so I hope yours stays good.

Amazing. You even involve into hard worker stuff.
I'm from bogor city a.k.a rain city....
You can order custom made furniture in other city Indonesia not only in Bali.
But every city has own specialty....like wood crafting furniture from Bali or Java such as Jepara can make best quality....
Even you can custome order BATU SIKA for yard or garage from Yogyakarta....but I prefer to call the specialist to make in your place....
Hope your project will finish as soon as possible because now it's rain season.
Stay safe, keep healthy, smile and happiness will come to you.
GOD bless you with all the best

Tiling with that way is the conventional one, here in Indonesia we also use tile adhesive to fix tile/granite, even natural stone. But hopefully everything went well

How Awesome Kimiora, have really enjoyed following your story and cannot wait to come and stay at your Villa's with the family when they are ready - so inspirational, I am truly amazed and awed by what you and Michael have done in Bali - your 'little big Project' is inspiring, I will have to convince Dave now to build our 'Dream' villa in Bali hahaha! Have recently found you on You Tube and am really enjoying your updates. Living in Sydney but love travelling to Bali and bringing furniture items home for our place. Looking forward to seeing the finished villas. And btw, LOVE the baths you were looking at. Renovating our bathroom soon, will be looking at sourcing items from Bali for sure. Thanks for the very informative vlogs.

So so awesome! I was looking at getting a container shipped to brisbane with furniture! The bath is bomb. Can easily fit 2 people comfortably. All the best with the renovation!

I like your videos. Thanks a lot for the subtitles. I really appreciate it.
But if the subtitles are yellow or the border of the font is black it might be easier to read.
Once again, thank you very much for the subtitles. I hope your youtube channel will grow faster.
Sorry my english is bad, i use translate. 🙏

I run a small woodworking shop in west java, by our community here, so i can recommend some good wood for outdoor, merbau or ulin, with proper preparation its more resistant of insect and weather. I wish nothing but good luck for the project🙂.
Ps. I really wish i can show you our wooden product that im sure gonna sit nicely in the interior, but i dont want to be shameless and put a link without being asked. Anyway, thanks

Hi. Super interested to find out how hard the process is to build and have a rental business in Bali. Did you have to get a PMA first? Did it cost much? We’d love to do the same but not sure how much set up costs are before you can build. Cheers

I would also love to know this... could you share more about the legal process when building in Bali?

    • @kimiora1
      @kimiora1  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hey I'll try create a video on this with the hope it helps others! But yea it's not a straight forward process. We have been here for 5 years and we found that lots of agents were giving different answers. On the second year we successfully set up a PMA and it was significantly more expensive then if we were to set up a buisness in australia. Let me circle back to these questions with a future video. Hope that helps
