Kyiv 2005 was definitely the best ESC for Rock music "Cool Vibes" is my 2nd favorite all time Swiss entry, this is perhaps the biggest improvement from a country within a year in Eurovision history. After the gates of hell from Piero previous year Switzerland decided to scrap their national final and make a risky choice internally selecting Estonian band Vanilla Ninja which was deemed successful achieving their highest placing since 1993. I found them so attractive and with my ESC 2005 DVD l stook in every few weeks I always skipped to this frantic performance rocking my socks off, when getting the internet in my home a year later I looked the girl-band up and loved their other hits. Vanilla Ninja are probably my favorite all female Rock band, and yes I say they're better than L7, The Runaways, Girlschool, Kittie and don't you dare mention Babymetal.
This should be the winning song back that year...Even if I am greek and that year Greece won with Helena Paparizou and "My number one" I loved this song and I still do...I think this song is one of the best eurovision songs ever..The other two songs are "wild Dances" and "Hard rock hallelujah"..But I think also that Helena won coz she had a good ethnic song and a fabulous appearnce on the stage..Man..I mean she was like a sun!
i watched eesti laul because of OTT and saw her and thought she looks just like the leading singer of vanilla ninja;)), I didn' realize it's in fact the same person since she had dark hair in 2005 and i wasn't following vanilla ninja since than;). However I'm glad Ott won, her song was beautiful but Ott totaly delivered in Baku, so I hope we and you guys in Estonia are happy;)
this was by far the best song that competed for switzerland in recent esc history! im so sad that swiss dont dare to send some extraordinary music or musicians that stick to peoples minds... every year the same boring songs and then people wonder why nobody votes for us... nobody dares to commit a mistake. in this way well never be going for the title =/
cool rhythm guitar, i like these girls, i like them a lot, but, as we can see, behind those gorgeus girls, are 2 mens, the 2nd rhythm guitar, and the drummer. nice vid, nice song.
@EddiMusicSwe Yeah, right. Switzerland is one of the biggest underdog countries in ESC for the last 15 years, way worse than UK. UK came 5th in 2009 and 2002, proof enough that UK can come in a good place, IF (and that's been a big problem for UK) they manage to send good songs. Blue was okay but sang terribly, but Josh, Andy Abraham, Scooch etc, really deserved their placings. That said, Vanilla Ninja is amazing, my 2005 winner!

I have had a look at your profile, before i posted, so i know, you are from Estonia :) But Vanilla Ninja did´nt perform for Switzerland on their own will, it was the will of their former manager, David Brandes, who is born at Switzerland. But BTW - it was the best show from there in LONG time !

exactly. all swiss songs of the last years were allways the seme. Only Sinplus in 2012 and Sebalter in 2014 were diffrent and brilliant
I'm from Switzerland and i think we should bring groups from another countrys to te esc, so we have the greatest chance to make a good results
