Thanks to Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas, music from the 40's and 50's are very very close to my heart. They've opened up a whole different world, one I really wish I could've been a part of. This song is amazing and Peggy has such a pretty and haunting voice with so much emotion. I kinda cringe when thinking of today's music. But whatever; I'm quite comfortable in this section of TH-cam (: cheers to Fallout!

People are too ignorant now and there's no respect for anyone/anything. "Women" don't dress like they did in the 40s/50s and all the music now sucks. I hate it

The 40s and 50s were not the utopia you seem to believe them to be, while I prefer the music I'd much rather live in a world without so much McCarthyism, Racial Segregation, and Polio. At least now women can dress as they please, domestic abuse wasn't properly illegal in 1950s America. Entertainment at the time wasn't all too great either, the 20th century stuff I'm particullarly fond of was mostly "Black Music" and heavily frowned upon and television is now leaps and bounds better. The 50s were only great if you were a white man.

I went to school with her sisters children at the Avery Coonley School in Downers Grove, Illinois. Peggy's sister was equally pretty, but apparently not as talented. "Fever" was high on the charts, and played every day on the radio for minths at this time. All this more than sixty-four years ago! INCREDIBLE!
