+Breed X I don't think this was Teddy's production. It sounds like it, but I think it was Gerald Baillergeau. The tracks Teddy did was Don't Stop and Pumps and a Bump Remix
should've been a single. Problem was everybody was acting like hammer changed so much. Your talking 7 years from when he first hit the scene. Think Run DMC vs snoop/nas. That's who was popping in those time periods. Style flows beats change. But people couldn't get over it. It's not like he was talking about slangin, smoking dope, pimpin hoes...he really didn't change that much. He just updated himself. People would've clowned him if he would've came out in the same baggy pants, same hair, rapping turn this mutha out pt2. This album was the shit. It sounded current. Great beats. Should've sold more.
E Leon! I bought this CD the very first day it came out. And from what I remembered, Teddy Riley did not have any production credits whatsoever for this track.
in my case I think this was of hammer best cut on my top5 this cut hit home to me and the beat is so pure I love it takes me back I actually bought this in 94 I'm 38 bout to turn 39soon and I still play it to this day especially the end part is the best by far the beat doses it
Teddy Riley produced many of the tracks on this CD. This CD is actually Hammer's best in terms of a production standpoint. It was highly underrated CD and contained many potential hits. After Pumps and Bump, this track should have been huge, but the CD just lost momentum and promotion.
Why Hammer never released this as a single I'll never know. Teddy Riley's production back then was fire! This is my favorite Hammer song.

I can answer that: New Jack Swing wasn't too popular in 1994, even if it had a harder sound.
+sonikku956 New Jack Swing was in decline at that point.
Andrew Del Pilar
Yep, it was dead by 1997, at least in America. I think it's still somewhat around in South Korea.
*He still went platinum-plus with this album.*
