Reading that reminded me of an experience I had in elementary school.
I was in third grade, I was nine at the time. I had just got done in the bathroom stall, to find a woman, probably in her late twenties nearly just outside it. I didn't think anything of it at the time, didn't question an adult female in the little boys room.
She asked me if I "Wiped until there was no brown" I told her yes, and she said that she didn't believe me, and she wanted me to go back into the bathroom stall. There was another boy in the restroom, using one of the urinals. He walked out without washing his hands, and she didn't stop him... but once he left, she let me pass... but seemed angry.
The thing is... this is never something I've thought about before... it never crossed my mind until today.... I don't remember recognizing that woman as a teacher. I had never seen her before that day.

About two years ago, my guy friends grandmother passed away. Shortly after her passing, my older guy friend - who we will call Max - had been woken up by light shining in his face. Still groggy, but somewhat alert, he saw a figure standing over him. He couldn't make out any features because of the way the light spilling from the hallway fell on the figure. The figure stood over him for quite some time before leaning over and kissing his forehead. The figure left the room, Max assuming it was his mother, especially because his father wasn't home that night.
The next morning, he was shocked to find out his mother had never entered his room that night, and his brother had experienced a hand hitting his leg pretty hard.

This is a ghost story that happened to me that made me super happy. So at my school we don't have very good teachers but we had a really good teacher. I can't recall what she taught. One day we got news that she died. We were all super depressed. The teacher that died also was in charge of the play. I joined the play the year she died and we all took a picture together. On the picture we saw a ghostly figure. When we looked at the face it looked just like the teacher. I found it so cool that she would stick around for our play even in death.

It was some time in june, 2008. I was only 6 years old and didnt understand much about what happened.
I was at my first sleepover with my friend. They lived in the shady part of the town i live in. It was about six o' clock at night and we were running around the neighborhood. When we were running i stopped and noticed on old beat down house that looked like it was abandoned. We got scared when we saw it, and ran back to the house. The next day i woke up early in the morning at about five. I didnt want to wake up my friend so i went down to their living room to watch tv. I looked out the window and saw the scary house with one light on and someone staring out. I immediatly got the chills and just started watching tv. When my friend woke up at about seven, i told him about what i saw, he thought i was joking around and we ate breakfast. He then suggested we play tag with two of his neighbors and i dont want to so i stay inside cause im scared to go out. Later, i hear gunshots. My friend comes running in (with no harm) and he started crying. He said there was a man in the house who had shot himself, but then i looked back at the house when i was leaving, and saw him looking out the window, with blood all over the windows... Im still horrorified

Here's something that happened to me back when I was a few months old. Ps this is according to my mom
Back when I was a few months old, my mom was very sad. It was the anniversary of the day she came to the US. Now, my mother, her father, and her siblings had all come to America, years before on that day. The only one that didn't come was my Grandma, whom I've never met. So on the anniversary, my mom got word that my Grandma had died. Supposedly, she cried all day. Fast forward a few months to maybe August of the next year, and I'm just a few months old. My mom is holding me in her bed, cradling me slowly. *It's at night btw* All of a sudden, my mom gets sad again, just as she did back when my grandma died. All of a sudden, she sees my grandma, except it's a much younger version of her. My grandma smiles and my mom is crying a lot now. She extends her arms out to my grandma, while holding me, to let her look at me. My grandma nods and slowly disappear.

I have a story. However, It is not the creepiest, but It happened to me.
I was about 13 years old. I was home alone and I heard the door to my parent's room open and close although I did not hear anyone walk in. I went to my parent's room and saw a man with odd clothes on and grey hair mumbling something. You could see right through him but till this day I am not sure if he was a ghost or not. I was frozen in fear. I tried to scream but nothing came out. After him mumbling for like 5 mins, he turned around, looked me in the eye and said ''You will lose someone you love.'' Then I never saw him again. 1 week after that, my dad died.

My biggest fear stems from the creepiest thing that has ever happened to me. In my bedroom I have three large windows facing a pond/creek. My bed is faced towards the windows so I can watch the sunrise in the morning from my bed. At 2:39 am ( I remember the exact time because I literally fucking shit myself) I wake up to the sound of the hose right outside my window turn on. I shoot up from by bed and look out the window to see what the hell is going on. My bathroom light is on and the door is cracked just enough for me to see THE FIGURE OF SOMEBODY STARING RIGHT AT ME THROUGH THE WINDOW. I ran to my brothers room and we went back to my room to see if the person was still outside my window. They weren't (probably because I scared them away with my murder screams). I never knew the intention of the person but suspected it was a drunk teenager looking for some liquor because my parents had a whole fridge full of it in my backyard.
When I was 12 I was playing video games like always,I had to go to the restroom so I did,I came back to my room,I played for 15 minutes or so,then I stopped because I heated some thing scratching on the down stares closet(I was alone so nobody could have been messing with me)I grabbed my pocket knife and I went down stairs,every step I took I could hear the scratching getting louder and louder,finally in front of the closet door,my heart almost beating out of my chest,as I opened the door slowly the scratching stopped,that's when I panicked and opened the door fast and.............................realized we forgot to let out our cat._.

I was reading on my bed one day, when my cat walked in and stared for minutes on end at the cord to a lamp I had plugged in. Can you put mine in a video: Okay so me and my friend were playing video games like we always did at my house. My parents weren't home because they were going out to dinner. The only people in the house were me, my friend, and my older sister Nicole. After around 9:30pm my friend went home a d I resumed playing video games. I had my headset in and it was silent. But out of nowhere I could hear a voice I'm my headset saying "get out" like in a whisper. I was scared Shitless. I went to my sisters room and asked if she pulled a prank on me. She said no and in fact she heard the same voice. But the weird thing is right when we were talking about the voice... The closet door around 5 feet away from my sister room opened slowly... I freaked put and me and my sisters called my parents.. They came home quickly and said to me and Nicole that we all need to get out of our house. Here's a story that happened to me that has always made my flesh crawl. On January 8th, 1993 at 2:00 in the morning I was watching one of my favorite horror movies on video. Nothing unusual about that-I always loved to watch horror movies in the wee hours of the morning. It's the time for me when they're the most scary. It was a Saturday, so I didn't have to go to work that day. My friend and I were going to spend the day soliciting prizes for my church's charity fun fair which was in a few weeks. Anyway, at 2:00 in the morning I heard a car drive by. I was living in my parents' house at the time, and my bedroom was up on the top floor, so I couldn't see the car, but I could hear it. I've stayed up late past midnight many a night, and I had never heard anyone driving around at this hour in the neighborhood, at least not someone who wasn't me! And I certainly wasn't driving at that time! I was in my bedroom watching a movie! So that obviously wasn't me out there! I looked at my clock and thought to myself, "Odd! Who would be out driving at THIS hour?" So basically I just shrugged and went back to watching my movie, and didn't think anything more about it. Around 10:00 that morning I went to pick up my friend to go soliciting prizes. When I saw him he looked white as a sheet. When I asked him why he told me that seven people had just been murdered at 2:00 in the morning at the Brown's Chicken in my neighborhood, just a few blocks from my parents' house! As some of you may know, news of the incident went nationwide, and became known as The Brown's Chicken Massacre. At the time I lived at my parents' house, only blocks away from the Brown's Chicken where the massacre occurred. And I was awake at the time it occurred, watching a horror video! To this day it still gives me shivers to think that the vehicle that I heard driving down the street that night may very well have been the vehicle that the murderers were riding in, either to or from the murders. And to add to the creepiness, the video I was watching at the time was a compilation of police photographs from the 1930's of murder scenes in all their grizzly gore! The name of the video was "Death Scenes"! Ironic! I was watching a video of murder photographs, while outside my window seven real-life murders were taking place just a few blocks away! Then something else happened to me and my friend shortly after-about a week or so after the Brown's Chicken Massacre my friend and I (the same friend who had told me about the murders) were sitting in my car in the parking lot of one of our favorite video stores. The store was located in a rather seedy part of town, but we didn't care. I'd been going to that video store for years, and nothing bad ever happened. So it was nighttime, and we were sitting in my car in the parking lot of the video store just talking, like we usually did. We were going to go in later and get some videos, we just figured we'd sit and rest and talk for a while before we did. Anyway, somehow or other we got to talking about the movie "Candyman" which had just been released on video a few months ago. We're both big horror fans, and both of us had seen the movie. Those of you that have seen the movie and know the legend know that if you turn off the lights, look in the mirror, and say his name five times Candyman will appear behind you, just like the Bloody Mary story. It was nighttime so the lights were already out and it was dark. I turned to my friend and smiled and said, "Wanna do it? Wanna look in the mirror and say his name five times and see what happens?" He laughed and said, "Sure!" Neither of us really believed in that nonsense. We were just having fun! So we both looked in the rear view mirror of my car and said, "Candyman.....Candyman.......Candyman.....Candyman......Candyman!" For a few seconds nothing happened. We both laughed! Then suddenly we heard THUMP!! THUMP!! on my back windshield! We both SCREAMED!! We screamed so loud that I think they could hear us in the next county! We thought it was Candyman coming to get us! Luckily it turned out to be just a concerned customer at the video store who saw us sitting in the car for so long and came out to check and see if we were OK. We explained our story to him, and told him we thought he was Candyman! (And it just so happened that the man was black, just like Candyman! What a coincidence!) We all has a good laugh about it, but man, for that one second me and my friend had never been so scared in our lives!

So, when I was about 6/7, my cousins wanted me to "babysit" their dog Coco. Of course, me loving dog's I said yes. So Coco, and I were sitting in my mom's bed, when I saw this black thing jump up form the bed and jump back down. I knew It was not my imagination, BEACAUSE Coco, (sorry, auto correct)

This happened to my wife and I. We had just got engaged and were moving into our first home together,because of our lack of money, we had to move into these crappy apartment. It was a large 3 bed room apartment and was at a decent price and was much more like a house then an apartment. Another thing about the apartment was that it was in horrible shape,the workers never came by to fix anything and the landlord never made them, we had no carpet or wood floors just plain concrete, the oven didn't work and the neighborhood was awful but we thought it was a good deal for what we had. Not long after we moved in we got a dog named echo. She was pure black dog part chow and part border collie. Things started happening in the house mostly from the back room strange sounds would come from the back room. We would hear heavy stomping and things would go missing and then return to their proper places. My wife and I just brushed it off as nothing at first until we started getting the feeling of being watched. Oneday when we were watching our animals play she decided to film them and we caught blue orbs flying back and forth from out of the back room which really freaked us out but the thing that did it was one night our dog Echo when we were taking her out while she was craping her fur stood straight up,her teeth bared and her eyes were fixed on one spot and without warning she took off pulling the retractable leash all the way out pulling me with it she then went back to craping and did the whole scenario again. Echo was never aggressive so for her to act outside of her nature was just plain creepy my wife and I couldn't see anything but Echo did we move out the next day and never looked back 3 months later my wife and I did some research on the old apartment to find out that somebody had been murdered right in the back room where all the activity had been coming from.

One time I was staying at a indoor Water park /hotel for my little brothers birthday and while we were walking through the hotel and water park I kept seeing this scary looking guy around and sometimes he even appeared to follow us. I'm only 15 and I was watching my little 8 year old brother while we were both at the water park. It was late and I hadn't seen the guy around so I decided to take my lil bro back to the hotel room ( I forgot to mention that I'm a girl and that my mom had just given me the "rape and dangerous situations talk' and that seeing the same guy around had freaked me out a bit) On the way there I saw him yet again and as I passed him in the hall way I just ignored him hoping that this was just a coincidence and I was being paranoid. Yet as I walked pass I did notice him looking at me and my little brother ( still in our swim suits)in a very unsettling way. Fearing for my brothers safety I decided it was time to book it the room. My mom and brother went to bed shortly after we arrived around 8 and I went to bed around midnight. I always have trouble sleeping though because I can sometimes hear people and I have social anxiety. Sometime late at night I started hearing talking outside that kept getting louder and louder. I figured that some one was drunk and just being loud. But then they started to shout loudly which woke my mom up. She looked out the peep hole and whispered to me so that my brother couldn't hear to go get her phone and call the police. Tell them there is a man outside the hotel door trying to get and making violent and sexual threats. I did exactly that and in about ten minutes the police arrived. At this point me and my little brother were hiding in the bathroom while my mom barricaded the door and watched out the peep hole to make sure the man did not get in. When the police came in the room to do questioning they asked me and my mom if we had seen a man wondering around the hotel and then proceeded to hold up a picture. I had told the officer that I had seen the man around the hotel and water park and told him about his strange behaviors. The police then told us that the man was a serial pedophile rapist who targets young teenage girls. He then told us that hotel security cameras had shown him following us around the hotel and water park before following us back to our room. That night a police officer stayed in the room next to us and my mom insisted I sleep in the same room as her.
So as I was watching this with my brother in my kitchen on wooden chairs, I mainly have my feet crossed over each other and tucked under the chair. Well as I was listening to the stories, I tucked my feet under a bit more and my quadriceps locked up and I had to immediately squirm rigorously to ease the muscle. Unfortunately, my brother took this the wrong way, and thought I was getting dragged under the table by some sort of demon, so he screamed as I was trying to stretch out my muscle and it was like the funniest thing ever! Just thought I should share...

One night, while at my friends house, we were playing BO2, keep in mind we're 11-12. It was about 12:30 AM, so everyone else is asleep. When it goes silent, my friend, Jake, we'll call him, asked me, "Did you hear that?"" We quickly muted the TV, and in a sort of pattern, we hear a knocking sound on his window. When we moved the blinds, we saw a hand move down extremely fast. "Probably your brother fucking with us" I said. But when the knocking continued, Jake set down the controller and went to his brothers room. "Ian, dude, you HAVE to come see this.." We went into his brothers room, and sure enough, there he is, sleeping. We knew it wasn't him from that point on because we could still hear the tapping, even for the other room. Jake and I, being the fucking badasses we were, both grabbed baseball bats and ran outside. We saw a man standing right by the door when we barged out, maybe in his higher 30's. We beat the shit out of him, and I continued while Jake ran inside to wake up his parents, they called the police, and it was over. Turned out, that man was homeless and he had a shank at the ready for whoever came through that door, though we were to fast for him.
I just finished watching part one of this, oh man I loved it. Really exciting to listen to.

My scariest experience. A couple of years ago me and my parents went to Blackpool and stayed in a hotel at the Northern end of the promenade. We'd stayed there before, but it was only once, so we weren't that familiar with it, though we had a lot of good memories from when we went with my uncle aunt and cousin a couple of years prior. On my first day, I went into the pool and started talking to this boy (we'll call him Dan) there and his younger brother. They both seemed really nice and I thought we could be friends. After about half an hour, he said he had to take his brother back to his room, and he'd be right back. A few minutes after Dan went, I started feeling faint from the heat of the pool and had to leave as well. I met him in the entertainment room that night and we went to the kids area to play pool. After the game, as we went back to where my parents were, he asked me if I was single. I was at the time, but I told him I was going to ask out my long term crush when I got home. He didn't bring it up again. About half an hour later, Dan asked my parents if he could talk to me outside. They said "outside this room or outside the hotel?" When he said outside the Hotel, my parents said no, so we just went into the bar area next door. He asked me to be his girlfriend, but I politely turned him down, because I barely knew him. He didn't seem too bothered.
The next day, my parents and I were going to the theme park via the tram, when we saw Dan wandering about. We asked him where he was going and said he wanted to go shopping but didn't know where. We allowed him to get the tram with us, and told him where to get off. When we got there, he stayed on. When we got to another stop, he still stayed on. When we got to our stop, my parents quickly ushered me out of one entrance, trying to ditch him. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw him following us and I told my parents. As quickly as possible, we joined the queue to get the wristbands which would allow us on the rides. There were a lout of people after us, but he joined as well. Once we got our tickets, we went into the park and my dad and I went on one of the rides (my mum had not long had an operation so she couldn't go on). When we got off, she told us she saw him wandering around, with a wristband on, these things were really expensive for kids our age. It started raining then, so we ran for cover, and we didn't see him for the rest of the day. When we got back to the hotel, we learnt that he'd bought the wristband, but had gone back to the hotel with out going on any rides. He followed me down there.
That night, I was alone in the hotel room, on my laptop. I had my phone and my parents were downstairs in the bar. Everything was fine, until I heard someone talking outside my room. I took off my headphones, quietly went to the door and listened. It was Dan and his little brother. I texted my mum asking if she'd given Dan our room number. She responded by calling me, telling me to stay quiet, not make a sound and definitely not to answer the door unless it was my dad calling. I hung up and stayed on my bed until my dad knocked and told me it was him. After that, they both came back with their drinks. The next morning we were talking about how he knew where our room was. The day I met him, after he asked me out, he caught the lift with us. His room was on the first floor, ours was on the third, but he'd stayed on till the third. We assumed that he'd watched us walk to the end of the hall, where our room was. When we confronted him, his brother and his grandma about it, he denied everything and tried to put it on his little brother. But I know what I heard. I think that that was the moment I became aware of how creepy guys can be.

At one time, a little more than five years ago, I was lying awake in my bed in the basement of my grandparent's house. My family was staying there for a week in the summer, as we usually did at the time. As i was lying awake there in my bed, I heard footsteps on the floor above me. I got spooked but thought it was just my brother going to the bathroom, he's always been overweight (ironically I am too nowadays) so he would be heard more clearly than other members of my family, but just to stay on the safe side I grabbed a nearby book and made my way up the stairs. When I got up though, no one else but me was up, there was nobody in the bathroom, and I didn't here anyone flush or any other noise coming from any other bathroom on that floor. I was creeped out but eventually just waved it off as nothing and went back to bed. Still creeps me out somewhat to this day, I was 15 at the time...
