Bro I am 10 years RE owner service centres are like crap there is no repair only replacement. Spares will cost more than bike. And not recruiting technical knowledge peeple no improvement in services. They are only considering sales with no after sales service. They are improving in this for the past 10 years which I know. They are market leader no doubt only in sales
Definitely it's a reasonable expense. When compared to other premium bikes. As mentioned RE dealers are in every nook and corner,so service is not a problem also, the costs are reasonable. Good review 👍🏻👍🏻

Bro one of the major downside is power - 411cc engine produces only 24hp and 32NM of torque is very low, probably suitable for sub-continent and other places. WhyvRE is not considering to increase the power? With your panniers and other fitting mass of the vehicle increases 40 to 50% of weight which is difficult to manage in rough patches and also affects the performance of a motorcycle. According to me RE Himalayan is lazy …
Every bike generates heat. Most of the bikes these days run in Lean mixture for better mileage. This is not a commuter bike to ride everyday in cities. Take it to the highway and have fun. The heat that you are talking about won't feel like that. Even the 200cc Xpulse has a heat issue when you ride in the city. Even KTM has a liquid cooling system.
Xpulse is indeed a good bike. But in my opinion it's not an alternative for Himalayan. Highway cruising is not comfortable in Xpulse. I rode from Coimbatore to Kolkata. It wasn't that much of a smoother ride. I was struggling to go beyond 90+kmph. I always felt like going for the next gear when I was riding in 5th gear. Seating comfort is not good for long rides. Xpulse has its own advantage in off-road and short distance cruising. And yes, it's very pocket friendly compared to Himalayan...since it's a 200cc engine of course it gives 35+ milage. My Himalayan gives 30-32kmpl. So not a huge difference for me.

So many 5000, 10000 km only ran RE bikes are nowadays in second hand sales market. People buys New REs without knowing about it (knows only brand and grace). In course of time people understands that Mileage of bike is 30 km per litre, 200 kg weight (heavy), top speed 130km/ hr, very very low initial pulling, higher wear and tear in 10000 km itself, not useful for daily use and so on. Thats why people dislike it soon in 5000 to 10000 km itself and so many REs in second hand market. So many super bikes are available in market. Guys, analyse before buying new bikes. Thank you
Anna, I ride a spendor, but the bike is now very small for me. I'm about 6 feet tall. Moreover, the bike is nearly 24 years old (still runs like a charm, though). I'm planning to shift to a Himalayan. I need to commute daily about 30 km to my college and back home. Even though I have the confidence within myself to handle a 200kg bike, I'm here for your suggestion/opinion on it. Is Himalayan a suitable ride for me?

Heating issue is a major problem without wearing riding gears but you didn't mentioned.
Is there any ways to reduce heat ? Any accessories there to suppress heat ?
