"I would have given you the world. I would have given you anything...if you just wanted me." Well, that line destroyed me. I still despise him for his betrayal but there's a brokenness to Billy Russo that makes me pity him.
You sound like a child. Obviously he's a sociopath. When you grow up with that much trauma you can develop anti-social personality disorder, pretty much where your brain shuts off certain types of emotion like empathy or guilt. Which is exactly what happened to him. After having no one in his life and becoming a narcissistic sociopath all he cared about was superficial shit. He only cared about being rich and powerful, throwing his closest friend under the bus to someone like him was worth it, since he was far too damaged to really give a shit about any human relationship. In result he became rich, pretty much all he wanted and cared about.

Dude was damaged way before meeting Franck, always relied on himself and always protected himself because he had no one, Frank with all his love couldn't fill the massive hole in his chest. Billy doesn't love, doesn't care. Why do you think he went to fight Frank ? He's lost everyhting he cared about, Frank's friendship, Curtis lied to him, money, power. He could have run away but didn't he just Hoped Frank would kill him, as he said "Frank is the best" he knew he would loose the fight and begged Franck to Kill him.
That's kinda sad men, His character represents the corruption, how money and power can change a man. The Guy of the flashbacks is an unconditional brother for Frank, The one in the present is what's left of him. It's a much deeper character than it seems.
Great work of Barnes because he'll be doing three diferent characters in one. And you belive everything he does, when he was a good one you just love him, when you realize he betrays Frank somehow you don't get to hate him because you used like him, then when he tries to kill Castle and see the flashback of the Familly and Russo you finally start to want him dead until you know there's no way back.
It goes deeper than that. The man that betrayed Frank was always there from the get go. Remember everything he talks about. How much his mom abandoning him shaped him, how the “Good Samaritan” that was there from him turned out to just be a pedophile. He shut himself off from really feeling any attachment to anybody and everyone just became disposable. Money didn’t corrupt him. Him living for the superficial at the expense of people who genuinely care about him is a byproduct of his issues not the cause.
God, the chemistry between Ben Barnes and Jon Bernthal is everything! Whether they're in the same scene or not, they just wrap you up in their world, and everything just disappears. It's too much! God, it's too much!

i started this tv series with few expectations , and i had been totally astonished by the development of the characters, i mean , they played an incredible role .... few tv series had been able to create this feeling imho
Not at all. The first few episodes are kinda shaky, but the acting in general from the entire cast is excellent. I hated Agent Madani and Lieberman at first, but they became amazing character midway through the season. This honestly is a phenomenal series. It's goofy in some parts, and ridiculously unrealistic with some of the writing, but shit, it's a Marvel show so you gotta expect a little bit of cheese.
