I was so excited to watch s2 of The Punisher, and finally edit with it! I've been wanting to for a while. I love Frank Castle a lot (and Kastle as well hahaha), and one of the most compelling dynamics he has is the one he has with Billy. Their relationship makes me so angry, upset, and heartbroken. Billy is a real piece of crap, but I can't help but love to hate him because of Ben Barnes' brilliant portrayal of him. So this season finally gave me incentive to edit with this show.

Just a Potato with a Face first of all, I’m sorry that even happened to you. Unfortunately I was in the same circumstance however I was the one who betrayed someone. So I feel what you and Carson are going through, just on the other side. Shit does stick with you, even thought about taking my own life because of what I did. Sucks because no matter which side you’re own, that kind of betrayal will stick with you for life. And most people will make assumptions on you based on which side you took

C0mmandant i don’t have any links but i can confirm that multiple websites have said they will continue the show but there is a two year period from the most recent episode where they can’t make any new ones. so early 2021 is the earliest it would come back

Happend to me. A guy I called my brother (not related) grew up with, he lived with me, went to school with and enlisted in the army straight out of highschool, went on 2 deployments together, I got out, he reupped, came back from a 3rd and did nothing but drink and get on drugs, he blamed it on me cause I dident reup with him. He went on trying to steal some of my guns from my house after getting drunk and we had a fight, after which I had to call the cops on him.
The scene where Frank finally kills Billy really hit me. It shows how Frank does not care anymore and has truly turned into the punisher, cold and ruthless. Earlier in the show, he would have sat down with Billy and stayed with him as he died, maybe even tried to help him. But he has been through so much and is so tired of everything that he just puts two bullets into his best friend and walks away. The writers of this show made a brilliant story and Jon Bernthal brought it to life. Fantastic show.
He stopped being his best friend the moment he decided to not tell him what was planned and leave him to die alongside his family. So I disagree at this one point. He did not kill his best friend.
@@sunshineandmrorange5401 Deep down, Billy was still his friend. It's a hard pill to swallow knowing someone betrayed you, especially in the way Billy did.
Frank even said that wouldn't be easy. It's never easy to write off someone who you trusted. That stays with you.
Once a brother, always a brother. If Frank had given a second more, he would have spared his brother again because he doesn't want to lose any more of his family. The beating he gave Billy was revenge, not punishment, and the difference is the emotion. The Punisher did what he had to do to end it while he was still in control of his emotions.

What I love is that Billy in the first season betrayed frank and made him lose everything without him knowing and in season 2 from Billy's perspective frank took everything from Billy and betrayed him without him knowing

Billy Russo is a great example of no matter the bond you have with someone , no matter how close they are to you that they can change and leave you for dead in a blink of an eye without a second thought.

Can't help but feel sorry for Billy at the end. He finally realizes the gravity of his mistakes and how deeply he hurt frank. But it was too late to apologize, and Frank had no more forgiveness. And in the end Billy paid for it. Such a shame.

I kinda felt sympathy when billy was trying to apologize and frank just blasted him like the show isn’t real but it really does prevale the fact that people just be switching up for money and fame and what ever they want to gain
If Frank would let Billy spoke his Apology to Frank, Frank couldn't kill him, bc they were best friend...
But even then, there is no apoligy in the world that billy could of gave that would bring franks family back. And frank knows this. He would hold that in his face. And he eventually would still kill billy in the end of the day

The Machine_marp yes true, but it’s more of the fact he lost his memory, so this is a “new” billy. Frank can’t get him to remember all the evil shit he did, billy apologizing for all he did is like giving himself a clean slate. Frank might still be able to kill him after he finishes apologizing, but it’ll be a whole lot more difficult for him to do so.

I keep crying for Frank. He is so justified for his actions which are a crime but you want him to do it because you know you can’t do what he does for the wrongs done to you. Jon made this character so captivating with a glance, a grunt, a “You’re goddamn right”, “I will come for you,” or the way he truly loved Karen and her back at him. Frank Castle is the most amazing character on Tv, and you blew it, Netflix!!!! You blew it!!!! Now, Franks coming for you.

Yup. It doesn't match at all to how he got them. Having your face scraped down broken mirror wont leave cuts like the ones shown. It would cause something more resembling road rash in a way. He would have many upon many cuts ranging in size filling the whole area of the face that was scraped.

@@huzkye2361 i didn't pay it much mind, though i honestly expected it to be worse. i was expecting it to look like dwight's face from the walking dead, but i guess they did talk about/mention how well his doctors did in the reconstruction.
I dunno, I worked for a while with a vet that tried to kill himself by eating a shot gun but lived. This dude's face is absolutely horrifying. If they did anything like that with Billy it might have been too much for TV, even this show.
@@philtanics1082 well, to be fair, a shotgun to the face/in the mouth is going to cause way more damage than getting cut by glass. my mother punched a mirror and shattered it, getting multiple pieces of glass stuck in her hand and a large shard in her pinkie-knuckle that needed surgically removed. but, now there's hardly even a visible scar. obviously, her injury still wasn't as bad as billy's, though. part of it may have been that they still wanted him to be attractive, since he's still on set. even when these characters are bruised, bloody, and beaten to a pulp, their actors are still getting their makeup and hair constantly touched up on.

Nah, if the Punisher had given him another chance to talk, Frank would have spared him again. Once you consider someone a brother, they're always your brother, and Frank couldn't watch any more of his family die. The Punisher killed him in the only way he could guarantee it would finally be over: quickly and without emotion. It's punishment, not revenge.

most villains seem to have 2 sides, where they feel remorse but keeping doing what they want anyway…. but with billy he just seems to flow so easily through so that you never really see it coming….. like he knew abt franks family and when he told frank to his face there didn’t seem to be any remorse behind it. and same when he killed sam,,, he went and washed off the blood he indirectly covered madani in w/o a thought….. but the fact that he did so,, or wanted to grant frank a “quick death” shows he has a heart,,, he just chooses to be horrible anyway

The Punisher punishes those who need to be punished. Frank got his revenge. The Punisher delivered his punishment in the end. It's fitting in my opinion
