I struggle with set in fall too. I read Pumpkin Spice Cafe, it was okay, but then I read the sequel Cinnamon Bun Bookstore and loved that one! I have One Of Us Is Lying I know is set in fall, but for the most part I guess off the vibes. LOL
Such a great stack for November! I’ve been wanting to read Secret Santa the past couple of Decembers but I never get around to it. It sounds so good though! I read the secret history awhile ago but I think it takes place during the school year so it spans at least a year if I remember correctly. Also, I read the forest where the phoenix sleeps for orilium and I enjoyed it so I hope you are able to get to it soon!
I don’t really remember the season in Secret History. I want to say it takes place mostly in the fall, heading to winter. I remember leaves mentioned and it being cold. Especially during school.
I read Tresure Island when I was 7 years old, it was the first classic that I read. Earlier this year I started rereading it, so maybe I should pull it out. I own an ebook version, which is not very pretty. I hope you enjoy your reread, Alison.
I would consider The Secret History as Fall/Winter. Also, Abbi Glines has a Football YA 7 book series that is definitely autumnal. It's called The Field Party. The first one is called Until Friday Night.
The Pumpkin Spice Cafe was such a cute book 💖
I read Secret Santa, and I loved it. I loved the 80s backdrop of the book.
I read Secret Santa! I loveddd it!
I liked Secret Santa, a bit cheesy, spooky, and enjoyable.
While I love your themed boards, I just enjoy the game itself. Looks like a great stack.

I love Treasure Island. If you have Audible, I recommend the graphic audio version.

I love that you always have a ton of books I’ve never heard of😊
