Breaking ScreamZ agreed. they destroy every band thats in Metalcore I think. even the likes of Architects Parkway or wtv sorry fan gays but none of them come close to ABR in terms of making generic metalcore into their own masterpiece
Roger Rabbit I think the closest to August Burns Red is This or The Apocalypse. Since that band is a technical metalcore and they're underrated . Try checking them out they're cool tho.

I don't understand the Messengers hype. It's good but I feel like people are blinded by nostalgia and I guess it helps that I discovered the band post Messengers, during Constellations. This song alone is better and more creative than anything on Messengers.

I'm a drummer and I might be partial to that part of the music but why isn't anybody talking about Matt Griener, absolutely amazing! The whole band is great but in my opinion Matt's drum parts make the band for me
Everyone knows he is a God tier drummer from the early days
He's been the GOAT since day one. If i remember correctly he started the band and they practiced in his parents basement in hs. Matt is incredible live and writes all of his parts out before playing them which is insane.

The true message hidden within the entirety of this already amazing album is this, The awakening an transcendence to a higher understanding and reasoning called Consciousness. Notice the center of the flower on the hero's skull, It's the mind's eye, open, but at the cost of knowing, feeling and understanding pain and our hidden truth. It’s sad that the slight Religious themes that this band has creates such a stigma around them, this is some of the most technical and beautiful artistry in this genre and is reduced in most circles to being just ok, good at best.
