I love and treasure all of those pieces because they're beautiful to me and I love looking at them. Shoes and cars are not going to age well in an art collection that will appreciate in value over generations. This guy is living the throwaway dream. Those shoes will crumble into dust after a couple hundred years with their industrial scale craftsmanship, and be worthless well before that when Kanye fades out as a figure in pop culture. Conspicuous consumerism doesn't hold value.

Plenty of well known famous instagram pages that are followed by the designers themselves showcase samples and offer a few pairs in different sizes for upwards of $2,000.
