Love finding candle sticks made for tapers , and pair them with votives with E6000 glue. Especially striking when glass colors contrast, like crystal bases with emerald glass votives. Also like adding things like brooches, broken jewelry, etc. Thank you, Lisa, for your ideas.

I like the idea of a jar instead of a tissue box. I have an ornate, antique (nearly 100 year old) "biscuit/cracker jar" from Grandma's house. White tissues will look better than a bundle of Sharpie markers. Thanks for the better idea!

Nice flip ideas. Might want to secure the wall art to the riser somehow or stabilize it by putting 4 low legs in the corners or use 2 risers (one on each end) because when your guests lift the cups on one end, or plates on the other it would become unbalanced and it could tip your display over causing problems with lit candles flipping on to the counter or floor if its only held by gravity. Thank you for your creative ideas.

When taper candles don't fit, drip candle wax into the bottom to hold the candle firmly. If the tape is too big, use a knife to remove a little wax at the bottom.
