Thank you for the video.....well done!!........ Will be doing this to my 78 that I'm restoring, probably over the fall/ winter. It's awesome finding videos of people working on their 928's. These are well engineered cars, but the early ones are fairly easy to work on......just expensive.....but then again, this was considered a super car!!
Nice video, thank you, this will help greater as I'm about to start my rebuild this weekend. I have no leaks but the steering is very heavy as though there is no assistance. Rebuilt my pump but that did not help.
Thank you...and great video! How close are you to the east coast? LOL. You made a very good choice to take this (less the star washer) to different, clean area. Did you have a schematic/drawing of how all of this stacks in there? I think I have one....somewhere
This is great. thank you. Very few videos on steering rack rebuild
Great video - thanks for taking the time to video this, with great explanations and links to parts. Top stuff.

Probably just the pump. They get to a point were they don't produce enough pressure.
Very nice Davin! Thanks for sharing your work.

AZ sorry. No diagram but doing a video of taking it apart helped me review to put it back together.
Really nice video…thank you! Once you fitted the oem bushings did you not have to fold the protruding sleeve onto the rack?…if do, how did you do it?
