Hi Bryce - we had an Asian lady bug (orange ones) infestation awhile ago. If those are the ones that you have, don't worry about killing them. Vacuum those beasts up and throw away. It's the red ones you don't want to kill. Enjoy your videos!

Those are Japanese beetles, they get really bad here in Michigan as well in the fall. They get into anything trying to find their winter spot. I just suck them up with a vacuum cleaner, just make sure you empty it out...they will get back out...
Carefully vacuum them up, if you squash them they will leave an orange residue.

I had some in my house a few years ago & sucked them up with the crevice tool on the vacuum, worked great.

Golf club head with no shaft means there's a good chance that the heads are really old. were once attached to a wooden shaft that rotted away
At 7:50, that was a power steering pump. 10:30 Winner! Camshaft! 11:05 Harmonic balancer or fam belt pulley for a car engine. 17:30 Fan belt pulley. Could you zoom out some, and tilt the camera up? A lot of times, the object is out of the frame, or we only see part of it.
Those little wheel things you kept finding are actually engine pulleys and cam shaft pulleys and yes those were camshafts 😉

Those are probably what we call, "bean beetles." They are abundant when they harvest soy beans. They were brought over to help control aphids. They bite, ladybugs do not. They leave dark spots on clothes. We had to quite hanging clothes on the line outside due to these guys. They are persistent as stink bugs when wanting to get into places. They are a more brownish color than a true ladybug.

Bryce, there is a tire (which is rubber) and a rim (that the tire goes onto), (steel) That first piece you just brought up is a brake drum, it's what the rim bolts to. So, you either have a rim, (steel) or a tire (rubber). You can't have a tire rim! You have a tire or a rim. Thanks, not trying to pick you apart, just trying to clarify the difference. Lisa from Delaware. If that was a floor lamp that you pulled up from the river most floor lamps are weighted in the bottom so they don't tip over when in use.
I use to own a pest control company. If I could see a picture. Could be cudzu. Lady bugs are looking for hidden place and warm to over winter. Harmless.
Put some water in a pan, soap water mix a little and a tiny desk lamp shining on it, this helps with lady bugs and stink bugs. Saw this on you tube

10 drops of Peppermint essential oil to an ounce of water. The scent is so strong it will make them leave. It will get rid of spiders, ticks and mosquitoes too

Bryce, please adjust your camera and please hold the objects in the sun, slow down and let us see what you have brought up. You brought up two pieces of metal objects and I have no idea what they were because I only saw the bottom halves of them. I think they might have been sash weights but, I never saw the whole objects, only the bottom halves!!

True Lady Bugs are red with black dots & are good for the environment. The Asian Lady Beetle was introduced as a way to kill off aphids & other scale bugs. They are orange with black dots. The head has a white area with a black M. They emit a bad odor when crushed & can bite. These you should try to get rid of. From my vantage point, they look orange & if so, get rid of them. You can get further info online of course.
Yes, those are camshafts. the "wheel things" look like pulleys from a car engine- the pulleys that fan belts go around. 19:30 - that is a carborator off an engine.

That Nintendo controller you found a few videos earlier.. the console is called Nintendo, or NES (Nintendo entertainment system) its the original lol. The commentary you and Emmie have avout the box tvs crack me up too. Also, if the "ladybugs" are any color than red, mainly orange, then they arent actually ladybugs. They're called chinese beetles, they are invasive, and people are allerigic to their bites...my daughter is. And you are free to kill them. Can't wait to watch more of your videos!!

@@annettewayne1988 there are 27 kinds of ladybugs. The Asian is one of them.
Put a really thin sock over a nozzle on a vacuum and vacuum the beetles up. You can throw the sock away when it gets full of beetles. They stink really bad so you don't want them left in a vacuum.

You’ve mentioned in one of the videos that you had a lot of flies will try this….
Get a bowl that you don’t use, fill up a quarter of it with dove detergent
The same amount with vinegar and a touch of water mix it up.. with a spoon
We’ll see what happens when your day is over, and you come back after magnet fishing.
This is got to work. Okey-dokey you don’t have to look at it do you love dead flies but leave it there for three days and start a new one if you want either scoop out the flies or start a new one totally up to you. As for the bugs, they sell in home depot like auto starting cans of bug killer in smoke form that you open, it spreads and you leave the room for an hour. Non toxic.

Simply vacuum up each ladybug you spot and discard the contents of the vacuum cleaner into a sealed plastic bag. Place the bag in the trash to avoid the ladybugs finding their way back into your home. 2. Spray vinegar where you spot ladybugs to remove the pheromone trail.Ladybugs do not like citronella, citrus and plants in the mint family (such as peppermint or camphor). They also dislike the smell of cloves, bay leaves and chrysanthemums. Generally speaking, these strong smells overstimulate and confuse a ladybug's senses.
Those aren't ladybugs, their just beetles that are evasive this time of the year. Every time you open your doors or they will attach to you to get inside for hibernation.
Watch out because ladybugs do bite.., look it up I'm serious happy magnet fishing! 👍

That one you said looks like a piece of a bike chain or somthing, it's a timing chain cover off a car motor
This poor guy went to work on his car, car gave him all kinds of trouble so, he went golfing, kept landing in the pond and the sand trap, on the way home, he threw is golf clubs in the water along with the motor that was giving him a hard time, LOL!!!

Those are not ladybugs. They just look like them. those ones bite. We get covered up with them every year. They are looking for a place to nest through the winter, then will emerge again next spring. Just another type of bug brought in from overseas to combat other bugs and are now taking over. We have them and the brown stink bugs to deal with every year now.

Bryce, you look magical today! I love you everyday, but i love you a little extra today! Also, leave the ladybugs alone... they are mating, and murdering them benefits no one. They are pollinators and they are beneficial for eating mites, and small pests. They just live in their environment, and wanna sex each other up for a couple of days before they move on to the next phase of existence. So yeah, put down the spray. If you really hate them, then quit parking on their turf. You know, you could capture them and sell them to indoor farmers who struggle with mites that can damage crops. But to be fair, they prefer to just live their lives. Bees too. They love you, if you love them. And you're too beautiful to murder innocent creatures, just for adapting to your presence in their neighborhood.
