I love it when games do festive things during the holidays via the internal console clock. Right now, I'm playing Terraria on Wii U for the first time and zombies have recently started dropping presents. When opened they contain different colored candy canes, egg nog, and pine tree blocks. As if that game didn't have enough items already.
DAN STAMP! DANTACKLAUS! Played the shit out of Die Harder, so much fun. "Terrorists firing in the terminal!" The actual song playing in the background of Die Harder is so damn good.
Thank you so much Reiner for repping Chicago. Jeff doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Our way is the correct way to eat a hot dog, period. And ketchup is the worst condiment. Fact: fresh tomatoes are always better tasting than ketchup, and as a nice bonus they don't have ridiculous amounts of sugar in them. Ketchup is for children who can't eat food unless it's sweetened up. Expand your horizons, people. Try putting some malt vinegar on those fries.
Also, Christmas music is maybe the worst sub-genre of music. It's so soulless, banal, and corporate, even more so than your typical pop song. There are some exceptions, like w/ John Lennon, The Ramones, Sinatra/Bing Crosby and a few others. But really it's just the same mediocre songs rehashed so many times that all semblance of passion & originality is long gone.
