Cliff, take from someone who's put up a lot of elevated blinds, especially with wooden legs ( even though they're pressure treated ) you should put a full 4" solid cinder block or at the very least a half a block. It'll keep your legs from sinking and will extend the life of the wood. It's not too easy cutting the legs at the angle you'll need but it's worth it. Good luck and i hope you guys shoot some deer out of your new blinds.
