Imagine Revenant's Q with a larger AOE, with a stun slapped onto it. Easier to hit enemies and gives them so much disadvantage in a team fight or 1v1. When I got hit by Seer's Q, I can barely move and it's hard to dodge it, so I got really pissed by this.
You can really see the level of how some players have no clue how to use the Legends they chose. Two Seers in those two last fights and not once did they use the scan, whereas Jankz used it twice. It's crazy
To be fair these changes just happened. People gotta learn - before this change lots of Seers would ADS to find an enemy but not scan. The scan was used to stop revives, heals, etc. but now it doesn't stop those. Its just a different playstyle for him.

The slow effect only lasts two seconds to be fair but yeah you still get silenced for ten. I think they could balance this by giving people more time to move out of the way before his scan actually activates.
@christopher7398 to be fair 2 seconds on paper doesn't sound like a lot of time but in a fast paced game like apex a single second can make a huge difference and this proves that for sure.

@@christopher7398 Getting zapped by a wattson fence usually means you're dead, and the stun you get from seer's tactical is now stronger than that. It is also much easier to get stunned by seer as you either need to run into a Wattson fence or a Wattson needs to set up a fence trap in advance to stun you, whereas a seer can just point and shoot. The big issue with such a stun is that you're unable to aim your weapon at the opponent. Whoever approved this rework is out of their mind.

One thing I’ve always hated about slows in apex are it slows not just your movement but your aim too which feels horrible. I think it’s enough of an advantage to slow movement that it’s completely unnecessary to slow and screw over someone’s aim as well
It'd be way more balanced if it took as long as before but with the slowing, silencing, and it's damn near instantaneous and impossible to dodge anymore that is ridiculously broken
@@walkermott1750ou can scan them and you won’t have to wait to use it again as it resets automatically, so if you see a bird in a tall spot, just scan towards where it’s at and it will work just as if you walked up to it and scanned it yourself, very useful, surprised you don’t know about that and many don’t
I rarely played Seer before the “nerf” but I been playing him last few nights. Is it common to get so many assists? I’ve been in double figures quite a few times and I’m assuming due to the scan.
yeah, recon legends typically get a lot of assists! when i play crypto, i get an assist for every kill my teammate(s) get on an enemy that i've scanned :)
When the change first came out I missed the patch notes. The first time I was hit with a scan I thought it was a new cheat code and got really pissed off! Now when I see him my first thought is to get space, make it a long distance fight and hope the 3rd party rush goes after them instead of us. What other legend has a tactical that does 3 different things to an enemy, gives wall hack, blocks enemies tact/ultimate and stuns them. Other legends ult's aren't even this strong!
I have to catch up on my Jankz videos, but I saw this one and had to watch. They turned Seer into an OP Revenant... So insane. Hopped into firing range the other day with my cousin for the first time in a week or so, and he chose seer... I was getting so pissed. His q also kept cancelling my grapple as Pathfinder. So now its cancelling moves and not heals. Now stunning and silencing... Absolutely insane. He's gonna be Meta for sure. Definitely a buff, not a nerf, for this rework.
Revenant can’t have his silence, thats too powerful. But Seer, he can have a tactical that slows you, shows your their health and silences them all at once. Respawns logic
They nerfed seer by making his scan easier to use giving it 10 seconds of silence slowing you down to the speed of a grandma with a broken hip and tweaking his ult a little, sounds like a nerf to me

No reason an ability that only one out of three players gets to use should have the same cooldown as an ability that helps the entire team (like Seer tactical). There's a reason no one ever uses Pathfinder in competitive play even after the buffs. He just sucks against players who actually know how to play the game. Pathfinder is fun to use and good for pub stomping, that's about it. That's why his pick rate is high, he's largely useless for team fighting. If ranked worked properly and masters players actually had to play against other masters players Pathfinders pick rate in high rank lobbies would tank.

As jankz already said. I believe they wanted to make seer less impactful in team play and more in close quarter combat. Duels, etc. They should either revert back his I Bree ult or make it a 5 second silence. 10 seconds is just ridiculous.

Think of it like this is kit before this got a more balanced change his ult throwing distance took a little hit but it still plays it’s factor his tac got increased in speed to hit they brought back the flash stun slightly and now you can slow and cancel abilities that’s the whole reason I maimed rev but now I can get that through walls or anything it’s insane
As jankz already said. I believe they wanted to make seer less impactful in team play and more in close quarter combat. Duels, etc.
They should either revert back his I Bree ult or make it a 5 second silence. 10 seconds is just ridiculous.
His rework needs a rework
So now combine it with Horizons Ultimate and you can wipe a whole Team without effort. Well you can not me though xD

Saw the seer “nerf” and knew it was about to be day one seer. Ranked is already in a weird spot and putting this in the mix makes it a whole lot worse. Hope everyone enjoys the second split. 😂😒
