A few weeks ago, Porches aka Aaron Maine came down from New York to Philadelphia to play us some songs off his new record. We wanted to film somewhat of a "part two" to our sessions we filmed with him a few years ago. Just like those sessions, it was just him and his guitar stripping the songs down to their bare bones. Here's "Braid".

what a nice guitar
Stratocaster. Classic. I have the cheap version lol. Stratocaster Squire.
I love these versions so much. They are so intimate.
UGH - he is so beautiful - I can't wait to see him on his tour! 😍
It gets so dark
Before the very powerful
Light comes down
On me
[Verse 2]
I'll watch the world
Suddenly hurl itself into
Braids come down on me
[Chorus]
And it was as if
I was watching it
All through
A videocamera
So shaky and blue
I've got a dark
Muscle too
Pumping the same, strange, blood
Running through you
[Verse 3]
In that darkness
My body moves just how it wants
To with no-body looking
So I will try
Protect you from the powerful
Eyes coming down on me
Blessed my ears
loving this videos. i can't stop listening to pool
+theyactlikeromans these* ugh

I like these versions more of like all their songs they have these with
hot dang
watch at 1.25 speed
why would u ruin the song by speeding it up dumb fuk
watch at .108 speed
does anyone know which guitar pedal he is using?
Ben Higgins which cheap option chorus pedal would you recommend?
I think an mxr analog chorus would be the best option for this kinda stuff but it's around 120 which can be expensive for some (myself included). An electro harmonix small clone is good and a good price but limited with controls.
And the cheapest I'd go would be a danelectro but be wary cause they aren't the best quality. So cheap though it could be exactly what you need/want.
Chorus and reverb. A decent cheap option for chorus is Behringer Ultra Chorus I got mine for 15 bucks and I love it for this kind of stuff
Carter Wood thanks!
Aaron uses a yamaha chorus ch-10m, i can see it right there on the floor !
way iller
I might offend folks here, but his song-writing skills reminds me of the late Elliot Smith.
