This classroom is such a great size. It came out nice. Mine classroom is smaller & has less room for creative freedom. I have decent boards...but an open wall would help.
Yes, my back to school roadmap includes the checklists! Here's the link: view.flodesk.com/pages/6265ac3c1e8046b220253663 I also have this blog post specifically for first year teachers! msrachelvincent.com/2021/06/first-year-teacher-classroom-checklist.html
Love watching classroom set ups, but I am always curious how your rooms are so clean on day 1. Also furniture seems so new (very lucky) and wow good sized room. I’ve moved classrooms every year for the past 5 years now across my district and I always have major cleaning to do before I can organize anything. Throwing away very old items and books, dusting shelves, washing surfaces that are black, cleaning boards.. etc. I’m just wondering if others deal with this too when they move into a “new” room.
Yes! Anytime I move to a new classroom...there's a lot of cleaning that goes into before setting up. I'm fortunate in that this is my 5th year in the classroom...so I try my best to keep it clean!
I just use hot glue. It peels off and doesn't take the paint off. Sometimes it takes a little elbow grease...but a good scraper does wonders! We had to scrape all the glue at the end of the year because they painted over the summer, so I can say it wasn't hard at all.
I love classroom set up vids!! I have a whole wall with teacher stuff to play school with my younger brother. ❤
I love that! I used to play school with my younger brother too!

Thank you! Every classroom is so different...so just work with what you have to make it a place you love!
Would you be willing to share your big to do list? I am a first year teacher trying to figure a good system for setting up my classroom

@@msrachelvincent Thank you! I love your videos, as a new teacher they are proving very valuable.
I do table zones too during set-up!
Yes! 🙌🏻 It makes it so much easier to find things as you’re setting up!
Can you link your wall schedule file card holder??

Where did you get the 'be the nice kid' wall poster? I LOVE that!
I found it on Etsy. It was a digital download and had it printed at Staples as a blueprint because it’s much cheaper!
What do you use on the walls

Hi
Hi! Thanks for watching!
So many books that’s awesome!
Yes! We are so very lucky that our district is giving us all these books!
