If you want your rabbit to be healthy and live, you need to let it eat unlimited hay. 90% of the entire diet. Rabbits have very sensitive stomaches. Poor diet can easily mess with their bowels, which can in turn make them stop eating and drinking, and possibly leading to death... And please don't put them in a cage, it's very cruel. Would you like to sleep and stay in a tiny cage most of the day? If you just hide your electrical cables the rabbits can stay freely in your apartment 24/7! A rabbit in a cage is not a pet it's a prisoner. Like an animal raised for meat.
Rabbits have to eat constantly to push poop out. If they stop eating, their bowels stop moving. It can quickly lead to a them dying, a very painful death...
@@Dennis-ud2nh I don't have a rabbit. But I'm curious, what kind of hay do they like to eat? I'm not sure timothy hay is available in my place. How do you differentiate between good and bad hay? Does the flemmish giant also need a lot of vaccinations? How're the costs associated with their medical care and food per month? I also can't seem to find good rabbit vets near my place. Probably the lack of vet keeps me from getting a rabbit the most.
