You “knitfluenced” me and I joined the MDK Society, ha! I’m also looking forward to NashYarnFest. Your chunky knits for the craft fair are fabulous. That’s how I first found your books/patterns years ago when I started knitting, because I love chunky yarn.
Loved seeing all your knits and those of the lucky folks who joined the Knit X Midwest. If I could subscribe multiple times I would. Instead I've been sharing the info and encouraging people to subscribe. So good!
Thank you for all your inspiration, Jen!! Lucky crafters at the get together you and Erica put on!! My favourite line was when you said you can knit directly from your brain!!!🤯, but not actually surprising🥰Vlogmas this year would be so AMAZING!!!
Please send a tortoise cameo. I see a special tiny compost bucket for his advent calendar 😂 I bought a set of undyed skeins from a local dyer instead of an advent. So worth it to connect with other makers!
Aw! This was a super fun video. Your daughter's band is amazing! And your conference looked like a terrific gathering. The woman with the madras cushion...!!! So cool. Heading over to MDK now to see about signing up for the Society; you made a great pitch for it! And we need all the good people to keep doing their good things--thanks for being one of them!
@@stephaniebograd3315 - well aren’t you fancy! I wanted to Shazam it, but thought that I couldn’t with the TH-cam app open. This coming from an Iowa girl who first learned about Shazam machines. Now called ATMs.
I purchased one of the Lumos lights I think the first time you showed it. I L.O.V.E. it!!!! I use it for reading at night as well as knitting. BEST thing ever!!! :) EXCITED to see your Vlogmas posts!!
I hope that someday you might do the retreat as an overnight weekend. I would love to attend. I hope that you show some of your Scandinavian Christmas treats in your Vlog this year. I’ve really enjoyed that.
What a lovely stitchy event. Not to add one more thing to your list now, but the knitty cat graphic is so good! I would love to but a T-shirt if you ever fancy selling them 😻👌🏽🌟✨ 💛
Love seeing your Felix cardigan … I finished mine awhile ago and have just cast on the Felix pullover this week! You inspire me every time I visit here!
Looks like knitxmidwest was a smash! Hope you and Erica will continue and perhaps enlarge the timeframe. Would love to-join you! Thanks for the very enjoyable podcast. I look forward to Vlogmas. ❤🎄🧶
Love sipping my coffee & knitting with you. Really wish I was local enough to shop your craft fair & knit with your knitXmidwest group....looks so lovely. Huge fan of MDK & added the MDK Society to a shopping cart (along with a kit & class) so my husband could give it to me for Christmas. Maybe we'll knit together virtually in the Society🤩
I haven't tried intarsia yet. That book could be very inspiring! I'm trying to finish the holiday gift knitting and Arne and Carlos stocking and a couple of sweaters before I add any new projects to the queue. 😂
I loved hearing about your music adventures. Have you ever heard of Ren? He's an independent artist that's self taught. He's been battling lyme disease that was misdiagnosed for years causing lots of pain and suffering. Its resulted in some incredible music. Check out Hi Ren the next time you're looking for something to watch while you knit. His videos for Hi Ren, The Tales of Jenny and Screech, and Money Game 3 all feel like scenes out of musicals. As always I really enjoy watching your channel. Happy Thanksgiving!
Great podcast! Good luck with your number goal. Wish I could sub again! If I was a little closer I’d be at the ValAir craft show. I need to check out the MDK info. Thanks for the heads up.
Hi Jenn, I knit a thick wool vest , my daughters Christmas presi 🎁 the blanket is for my other daughter , love your big knit meetup, Where is it ? Can I come too 😅 Merry Christmas to your gang 🎄🎄🕯🕯🕯🕯
I have a fiddle leaf like yours mine are almost twice the height. I ended up experimenting and cutting one in half then cutting it down to 3 more groups and put them each in water in a dark space and so quick they got roots and now they are growing like crazy! My main plant split in two and has arms. It’s so cool. Never knew how easy to propagate. You could even just even cut below the top two leaves and do it.
Hi. I was wondering what yarn did you use for the bulky items for the craft fair. Is it super bulky or jumbo bulky? What size needle do you use? Thanks for a great podcast. see you for Vlogmas

Shout out to Erica’s perfect manicure! 💯 #knittinghandgoals
Love it all. The music playing during the knit x Midwest was great.
thank you so much! I thought the music was a good fit (but also was asking myself ... is this annoying?) lol. so thanks for the feedback!
@@JenGeigleyKnitsI was just about to type the same thing. I liked the music so much I “shazamed” it.
Also love my KxM tee!

I’m obsessed with the intarsia brioche vest. I’m knitting it in 2025 for sure.
it's so, so cool! brioche kind of freaks me out .. but a vest should be doable.
Love the Christmas stockings!
Need a nap after hearing about your week 😂 also I can attest those lights are great for closing chicken coops in the dark. 🎉

Your plant need a Cut again.
It look so healthy.
It does! Do you have any tips on how to cut it so it grows new shoots?
Would love to see your tortoise !!! Do you knit hats for him?
