    Stutz on Netflix brought me here. Jonah Hill low key the goat for using his platform for good. Either way I am beyond grateful for being exposed to Phil. Cant wait to read his books!

    Very good topic. I think that it's going to take a whole generation if not long to get away from the social media immediate gratification issue. Once enough people realize that there are real life consequences of their actions, also don't believe everything you see and hear, it's mostly a bad joke.

    It always bothers me when I hear people say the world is getting worse, bad, more negative or violent. I don't see life that way. I don't see that society is any different than it always has been and I see the hope, beauty and chance to make this moment better than the last. Also I think the internet is good. It opened the door to knowledge, choices and connections across the world that before wasn't possible for most.

    • @gives_bad_advice
      @gives_bad_advice ปีที่แล้ว

      Whether you think the world is getting better or worse depends on what part you happen to be focusing on. In the U.S. black folks aren't dealing with Jim Crow laws, so that's a whole lot better. On the other hand, suicide rates have been rising steadily for 25 years, so something is wrong. There's about a thousand different metrics a person could use.

    Chazz is great, But with all due respect....
    He says that when he was offered first $250,000, then $500,000, then a million dollars for the rights to "A Bronx Tale", that he turned it all down even though he had "only $200 in the bank."
    Now, this was after he performed the one-man show at a major Off Broadway theater for many weeks, then at a major theater in L.A. where he played to sold-out crowds every night for many, many weeks. What --- he wasn't getting paid when he performed to those packed theaters every night? And he was the one receiving all that money...because he was the only one in the cast!! There was no one else to pay!! He got all the money!
    $200?
    More like $200,000 in the bank by the time those offers came along. He was playing to packed theaters every night! Was he doing that for free?
    Come on, Chazz. "$200" in the bank?
    It makes for a good story....but you're better than that.

    I Refuse to take to the needle // not because of the pain from one prick, but because of MY Faith True Christians do not take needles' work

    • @eddiegutierrez7861
      @eddiegutierrez7861 ปีที่แล้ว

      What does that even mean?

    • @johnbeechy
      @johnbeechy ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eddiegutierrez7861 I refuse to allow needles to be injected into my flesh. If i am already un conscious, then YES i would not have a say in a needle being used.
      I have convinced nurses to not take my blood. I remember when the hospitals mandated with each visit, 'blood be taken and checked'.
      They used to use thumbtacks on the thumb. that i got used to, but needles had to forced upon me (at school at work)
      The needles i took were the mandatory 10 yr injection (at school). and while i worked for a Children's Aid Society (BRANTCAS) i had to get shots for safety.
      against the FLU (kids/clients always were sick), and the nurse stabbed my arm and jerked the needle around. It sucked!
      so i do not take needles to the body. No BLK INK either.
      I know the Bible demands No ink *(but the Hebrews were not exactly of the white skin tone when they wrote them words)., NOT because i am a hater of the artwork, or because of the Bible's teachings.
      I refuse BLK INK because the cops make note of all INK on skin. and if someone wants to be famous, or become famous after doing an act, they can go all BLK INK.
      eddie. do u take to the needle?
      I do not take needle work, not even if it contained H, or some other drug.
      it is the needle work, and many Christians (not just True sect ones) do not take to the needle.
      J Witnesses will not take needled blood into their system/flesh
      U can go BLK INK on your body all u want. BLK INK on skin does not matter more than the skin tone itself. //
      I do not "DO" Needles. and even at the hospital, the needles seem to not come my way. // not all bodies can conjure a path without a hospital within it. just saying
