I hope it's a series not a movie. I want the epicness to last, not be scrunched into a single viewing
I don't think it would work very well as a movie/tv show because so much of the book is mental, if you know what I mean. That is to say, what makes the book worth reading in my opinion isn't the action (the action is very generic and subpar with little stakes because of how powerful the main characters are) but the mental struggles and decisions that the characters make. You can't really adapt those to a screen well; the benefit of a screen is the better, more visualized action sequences, but as I explained those aren't very good.
There was production started on a TV series. I believe it all started in 2017. But as of now i dont think anything has come of it yet

because they so focused on acotar that they forget this masterpiece

That is a bold statement with how many fantasy novels\series that have been written. Have you read any R.A. Salvatore, Robert Lynn Aspirin, Arthur C. Clarke etc to compare against? It's an honest question, not casting aspersions. I have never read these so I honestly don't know how to compare....

Are they still making this into a tv show? I feel like they said they were gonna do it ages ago and I've heard nothing since. I want it so bad but I'm also so worried they will make it some crappy CW teen love story drama instead of the violent badassery it should be.
I'm willing for them to adjust a little bit the story just so it could fit the masses and not flop like it did with books turned tv :(

There was a pilot written and everything!!! IDK what happened ugh it needs to be a full HBO show- it deserves nothing less! Sarah J Mass posted a pic about it to her insta story in like 2016 (I think?) saying the pilot episode was titled Calaena like they had a script and team and everything! but updates have been radio silent ever since, I think hollywood gave up on it :(
@@a.h.2714 Yeah I looked it up and it's still under Hulu. I don't know when the option time runs out though. Usually after a certain number of years if they don't produce something the rights go back to the author. I think that's what happened with The Raven Cycle as well.

TOG IS WAY BETTER THAN ACOTAR!!! I give ACOTAR 5/10 and i give TOG a 9/10

You may not like the writing style initially, especially as you have already read ACOTAR but DO NOT GIVE UP, the series is just amazing
Personally I loved ACOTAR soooo much more, because Feyre is more likeable than Aelin imo. And also Rhysand...so dreamy.
@@katiemcbride9071 Honestly, at first I didnt really like the third person or how their are multiple point of views, but, trust me, you'll love it after a while! and the third person pov really fits in well with the story too.

Still the best book of fantasy i've ever read, struggling hard to find books which come even a little bit closer to being as good and perfect as this series was. But to whoever enjoys It, I recommend the series Grave Mercy from Robin LaFevers
