Just a suggestion. Due to the lack of water at that location, I would stage a fire extinguisher by the wood shed to be used if your fire gets out of the pit. I love your home and you are lucky to be able to share it with your family. You are truly blessed.
@@rogueengineer thank you. I saw you added 3 feet of stone to the outside of the actual firepit (great idea!) And then added a large border of mulch. Approximately how wide is the mulch border? 8 feet? 10 feet? I want to make sure my firepit area can easily accommodate Adirondack style chairs with enough space behind them for people to easily move about. Unsure how much space would be required and your beautiful firepit seems just about the size I want as well. Please advise on size of mulch border. TY!
He only needed a little bit, but Home Depot sponsored the video. He didn't buy it. I'm sure if he only needed a little bit of mulch he would have gone to HD. He did the mulch right.
It's a small business just like any other business. I am sure you watch TV, Netflix, Hulu, Professional Sports, etc. Do you hate on them for having ads and commercials? Our world is literally made of ads, everywhere. Rogue Engineer gives their plans away for free on their website for everything that they build. They actually bring value to people without anyone having to pay a dime. How else is a business supposed to support itself? Getting ad revenue is a part of the business.

Who are you to say who needs and doesn’t need advertising? Businesses are built and run in many different ways. Looking forward to working on the family’s fire pit in the woods as well!
Good luck! Fire pit season is almost upon us!
Awesome Ryobi ad! And the fire pit area is nice too.
Thanks!

TH-cam is not my sole revenue stream. I had a successful website and was doing it full time before creating my first YT video.
@@rogueengineer Good for you. Work must be good as your stuff is always to a lovely high spec.
Nice firepit! What is the diameter of the entire circle you created?
Thanks! I'd say its 4-5' inside the stones

Are you worried that the pine steps will rot out? They are huge so I imagine it wouldnt happen very quickly
why buy over-priced stone from home depot vs continue to use natural materials around the land or min utilize a local stone supplier?

“How to build a fire pit?” OR “commercial for Ryobi?” 🙄👎
