M brother is 19 and im 14. My father raised us apart from our mothers and he holds us accountable for all things big and small. This is not a phase, it is the direct result of a boy being raised by his mother. My mom will fuss and threaten, but will never take action. Dad doesn't play, he will immediately make you pay and i hold my dad in high regard. He is the reason i think before move, make the honor roll, and are recieving the principles award. Both my brothers are the same way. Age has nothing to do with discipline, it is parenting.

That's a far fetch statement to make, but you're only 19, so I expect nothing else. Don't down play all your mother has done regardless if she just "FUSS AND THREATEN AND DOESN'T DO ANYTHING". Seems like you have a lack of respect for her. Maybe you need to have a conversation with your Mother instead of calling out her parenting skills on Social Media. Be very careful what you say. Being a parent is not any easy job whether you're a father or mother. Hope your mind set changes when you become a parent. And I know alot of Single Parent Mothers that raised their Boy sons to become respectful Men....

@malaysiadunbar3558 This is my point. Women hate accountability. You don't know my mom, you defend her simply because she is a mom. Here is the research 71 percent of boys raised by single moms end up in prison. My mom knew that and she sent me to my dad. I don't
Sound like I have a lack of respect for my mom, we keep it 💯 in our family. A woman can never teach what she is not. I need things from dad that mom can't give. Duck can't raise a puppy to be a dog and a woman can't raise a boy to be a man. There is more to being a man than being nice and respectful. I love both my parents and it's a fact my dad doesn't play around when it comes to discipline. If you find fault with that, you need to do some soul searching. My brothers and I are following the teachings of our father. Have a good day.

We need to start being honest with kids. There is a big difference between a mistake and bad choices. Hiding in the bathroom to avoid practice, failing drug test, being late, missing practice, not watching film is not a 19 year old problem, that is selfish entitlement problem. These are all choices. Mistake are unintentional. Cormani is not on the same planet as Travis Hunter. All 5⭐️ are not created equal. He wanted his butt kissed and wanted the position given to him. He needs to grow up before he will find himself back home taking about I shouda, coulda, woulda.

19 is NOT A KID! They can father kids. They can go into the military. They have more options in life than a "kid". Cormani is a young college athlete that is making more money than a grown adult with their own teenagers going to college. He's being given Every opportunity to be successful on and off the field. He made a commitment and wouldn't, not couldn't keep them. He needs a grown man to sit down and give him the real. He will only have 4 short years to play this sport. His going pro is not a guarantee. There are too many athletes who are as good or better who will keep their commitments and do what is expected on and off the field. Young men think they know what's best for them and don't respect the knowledge that older, accomplish ed men can impart. No adult should write this young man off. He has free will. We all do. Cormani must understand that poor choices have consequences. Being 19 doesn't offer immunity. Athletes come and go. Of course we want to encourage this young athlete to strive to be the best version of himself. Only he can make decisions on how he wants to get there. Hopefully he will have other competent coaches who want to help him get to the next level, but hold him accountable when he's not meeting expectations for them or himself. He is a young man, not a "kid".

In hindsight Cormani probably never should have set foot on CU campus. Looking back it was a rushed recruitment as CU came in really late after he had flipped from Florida to Miami. There were red signs at that time but CU was so desperate for talent there probably wasn’t really any due diligence performed about Cormani. One of his former High School coaches came out last week saying he anticipated what we see now happening as he relied solely on talent in High School and the coach questioned his work ethic and attention to detail. I suppose this is a lesson for all parties involved….perform your Due Diligence on unproven high school athletes and for the athletes or parents if there are known maturity issues don’t venture far from home or your support base.

So many schools are loosing way more than Colorado. Sometimes the reason is just simply that they think they can do better some place else. That's what the portal offer. Many leave because a school is offering more NIL and that's just the facts. There are not these big hidden reasons why they leave. Some have moved 2 or 3 times already looking for something better. There ain't no hidden reasons. They are all obvious.

Losing an athletic scholarship is the unfortunate reality for some college student-athletes. There are a few different situations in which this might occur:
Most commonly, the student-athlete might never have had the scholarship to begin with. Verbal agreements are non-binding; they do not guarantee you a spot on the roster or a scholarship. Even once you’ve signed your National Letter of Intent, your agreement might not include scholarship aid.
If you are injured, depending on the school you attend and whether it happened outside of games or practice, your scholarship can be pulled.
Coaches can decide not to renew your scholarship for the next year. This isn’t a case of the scholarship being “taken away” since they are typically only year-long contracts, but it can still come as a surprise to some student-athletes. Non-renewals can happen for various reasons, including a new coach joining the program, getting into trouble on or off the field, poor performance, etc.
If you are not eligible to compete for any reason-poor academics, not in good standing with the school, etc.-a coach is not likely to keep you on scholarship.

I like the portal the thing is about the portal is that the portal can teach us a lot about the young man and women that are going into the portal it can teach us about their commitment level what a young man and women do at this age in these situations can also help us at the pro level just for the pure fact that we are watching how these young men and women act in real time in a given situation are they more about self or are they more about team an example would be an individual that has every reason to leave to chase a championship stays for the team that's the type of person you might want on your team at the pro level start take advantage of the portal and learn what type of young men and women we are about to draft at the pro level

Leave him alone...Every kid doesn't not respond or react the same way...lets see if Coach Prime is gonna a be good Coach this year since he is claiming every kid that went into portal cant play...lets see how the team really is...Deion is very controlling...thats why his daughter left the school and what did he do...call his own daughter "stupid"
