Some of us "Northerners" call it a "Beenie" ..... But the very pretty Carla can call it whatever she wishes ... 😉👌👍👍👍 *HAPPY NEW YEARS* you guys, and Taylor, of course !!! 🎊🍻🥂
Glad Taylor is feeling better. Thank you for sharing your camping trip. I'm still grounded, keep telling myself three more months... LoL Thank you for the VOD. 🥃🥃 Happy New year.
Happy New Year to you both. You have a beautiful combination rig. I love your Bigfoot trailer ; I am not a fan of truck campers Have a beautiful day! Cheers!! Illinois, USA
Glad y’all weathered those storms. We have been caught twice in severe storms in our Lance 1172. The first time was in New Mexico and we had wind gusts to approximately 70-80 mph. It tore the ends of the rear slide topper. It came up fast and very little warning. At one point we were sure the truck and camper were going to turn over. Then we were caught in high winds in the Texas panhandle a couple of months back. It was in the middle of the night and though not as severe as the other storm, those slide toppers popping in the wind will keep you wide awake. The travel trailer and truck look great. We hope you guys are enjoying them!
I was looking at 2015 Lance 1191. I like the rear shelving space better. The 2010 to 2013 the rear when you came in the door was about the same, the 2014 - 2015 they deleted the closet. I was looking to use that closet and shelves next to it for a lithium battery bank and inverter. Now I think I am just going to get a Host Yukon 11.6 and put it on F-550 flatbed. That is what the Joselyn Journey channel did with a Cascade 10.5 and get the extreme off grid pkg. (800w solar & 1200ah of lithium battery) capable of running the a/c 5 to 6 hrs and still have power for the evening. I am still researching but the Bigfoot with the Lance 811 is interesting.
I would also say that I was at a store a couple of days ago that sells a lot of Carharrt merchandise and on their signage by those hats like Carla was wearing, they definitely called them “Beanies”.
I could live in that camper. Good idea to leave it hooked up. We went through a tornado (not a direct hit ) in our cargo conversion. I said after that I wished I had left it hooked up. Storms are scary in a severe storm
We got 9” of snow from that storm with 3/4” of ice. It collapsed our aluminum awning and pulled our new vinyl soffit off the eave of the house. We got another 4” of light fluffy snow today 1/10/25. I hope my 5th wheel roof, skylights etc don’t collapse.
Hey Todd, She has a torn ACL and Arthritis at her age. Yes, we give her all kinds of good stuff to help. But she's doing well for being 14 years old. Thanks for watching!
What kind of leveling blocks do you use if and when needed? I can’t tell from video as it looks to be a pretty level spot . Also what do you use for internet or do you just use over air antenna?
We use 2x8 blocks that I cut and put a 45 degree cut on each end. They work great to pull the trailer on. We were using the campgrounds wifi but we do sometimes use a Solis cellular device that works great for the internet. Thanks for watching!
What's wrong with you people? Your 14 year old family member has intestinal issues, and you feed him a stick? I'm amazed at the stupidity of some pet owners!
Yeah, that's a toque dude.
And yup it's time for a new truck camper. But gotta keep that bigfoot trailer, i really really like it too 😂. 🍻

Nice video. Happy New Year.
We call them beanies here in Wyoming. Happy New Year to you both! Love your Wyoming hat you were wearing at the end of your video.
I would also say that I was at a store a couple of days ago that sells a lot of Carharrt merchandise and on their signage by those hats like Carla was wearing, they definitely called them “Beanies”.

Glad to hear you were safe from the storm. They are definitely scary when you’re in a camper. Thanks for watching!
In Louisville, KY. we call it a tabogan or knit hat. Great video!
Bravi!❣️❣️...Roses 🤗
In Canada we call it a Toque.
You're both wrong, it's a toque!
We just had our 15 year old dog pass in late october, know the feeling. Now house training a young chihauhau.
Drill not an impact! LOL… more people need to know this! Very aggravating when someone shows up and hits it with an impact very loud!
Agreed, the impact wrench is awfully loud. Thanks for watching!
In Ontario we call it a toque
Happy New Year
A hair flattener or stocking cap(as a kid) and I’m way older than you two! Great vid! Thanks!
I'm always called her the beanie
Beautiful campsite
Never heard a beanie called a bogon before Happy New years 🎉. ✌️
Called a watch cap in the navy I believe.
Here in Idaho we call them beanies or stocking caps.
In upstate ny, we call it a Toque or hat. A taboggin is a wooden sled. 😂
Happy 2025🎉❤
When we come back, we'll have to change Carla's hat from a beanie to a Toque. :) Happy New Year Y'all! ~ Todd

Wow, Sorry to hear about all the damage! I hope you can get it all fixed without too much trouble, and I hope your 5th wheel is ok.
You were in our neighborhood, we live over the state line north of Hayesville N.C.
Yep real close, Thanks for watching!
Up here in Canada we call it a toque.
A knit hat but I’m from Illinois
Northern NY - hat, beanie, toque
Its a knit cap y'all. Lol
In Canada your beanie or bogon is called a Toque.
Good to know, Thanks and Thanks for watching!
11:54 Taylor is limping. Hope y’all giving her some Glucosamine or something for her joints.

knit cap
Hello how are you 🇦🇿🖐👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice stocking cap Carla. Please don't put a toboggan on you head that would be very uncomfortable. A toboggan is a sled for multiple people.
lol, I’ve always called it a boggan, not really sure why. I guess that’s what I learned in the south.
beanie
Beanie
Oh no, what will our lil poor millionaires do ?!
We wish!
What's wrong with you people? Your 14 year old family member has intestinal issues, and you feed him a stick? I'm amazed at the stupidity of some pet owners!
She doesn’t eat the stick, she just like to break it off and spit it out. We are very picky about what she eats. Thanks for watching!
Florida girl - only need a beanie a few times a year!
Campground looks great! Love Hiawassee!!
