This is vital information. I give training in V-Ray and the number of people who use 3d rendering software and don't know anything about photography and exposure is mind-boggling ! Great video and thanks for taking the time to produce all of this !
I just bought an ASUS Zephyrus S laptop for 3D modeling and photorealistic work. I’m a first year arch student and these videos are just pure gold . Thank you I hope one day I can produce high quality renders like you
Super useful video!! Keep it up with your great work! We need more people like you guys, people who really cares and try to share their knowledge and contribute somehow, to make this world a better place. Thank you guys!
In the first part of the video you said, lower shutter speed means you get a sharper image and higher shutter speed can do motion blur but when you were using it in 3dsmax you increased the shutter speed to freeze the car... this thing got me confused a bit. Thanks for creating such amazing content.
Thank you. It is really a great video about camera. I’m a Vray user but the principle of the camera is same in vray ...corona and in the real camera. Keep going.....👍🏻 waiting for the next video.
Thanks for the tutorial, love the simple explanation of everything, helps alot! Subscribed to your chanel, keep up the good work :) Just a quick thought, on the start you are calculating how expensive photography hobby is and how we as 3d artists don't need to worry bout it..well actually if you calculate all the software costs (for example 3dsmax+renderers) which are paid annualy for like 2,5k every year, and all the subscriptions to like texture's sites and 3D model sites, and if you add your hardware costs of good enough computer, monitors and everything, I think a good 3D artist, over a few years spends as much or even more as a photographer :D
Hehe, thank you for your kind words. I was actually expecting this comment ;) Camera in the software is included, so you don't have to pay extra for it. I agree with you though, we have a lot of expenses too ;) We made this intro to emphasize how great cameras we have in the software.
Nice video 👍 Can you guys focus more on compostion? I have been reeding about depth value and lines and they have really improved my renders. I'd love to listen more about things like that.
The tutorial is great. If you can teach Vray in the same way, how good it would be for other software tutorials, such as the teaching of Vray for rhino
Hello. thank you for this video.. are you also using vray for your rendering? do you have any vray video tutorials? for advance tips and other lessons?
Please make a detailed tutorial how to set camera in interior scene . I have problems to set camera in interior scene if I am hiding any wall then outdoor lights come if I am not hide then my scene not cover properly . Please help me ho I do.
I use automatic exposure most of the time, I'm just saying that it's very usefull to understand this concept. For exapmle using simple exposure you might get a result that would be imposible in real life ;) So it's good to keep this in mind and learn it using normal camera too.
.tnx for this video..really helpful...btw I'm a fultime school teacher...drafting BIM modelling and rendering are my hobbies...I would like to be a fultime 3d artist like you someday...your videos inpired me to continue my dream...can you make a video on how to become an arch viz artist.do I have to be a design professional be4 I can become an artist?how can I land to that kind of job? What would it take to become an artist? Tnx in advance...and more power to you
We're really happy to hear this, Christian! :) We believe there is no limitation, it's just a matter of time and practise. Value 50 is actually 1/50, 200 is 1/200 (it's inverted), higher number in 3ds max is actually lower value :D

Do you have any video on vray rendering elements and post producttion?

does this affect still images or renders ? or its just for animations ?
I don't understand why there is a list of "A" and "B" in the calculator. Can you explain?
Nice video 👍
Can you guys focus more on compostion? I have been reeding about depth value and lines and they have really improved my renders. I'd love to listen more about things like that.

Thx for the video. For corona i always use simple exposure... are you saying by using photographic iso that the renders will look more realistic?
I use automatic exposure most of the time, I'm just saying that it's very usefull to understand this concept. For exapmle using simple exposure you might get a result that would be imposible in real life ;) So it's good to keep this in mind and learn it using normal camera too.
You forgotten rotate the tires (6:50).
It's just an example ;)
