What other questions do you have about placenta previa or placentas in general?
this is my 7th baby and all my baby's were vaginally and I have had 1 premature baby she came 2 months early..for this baby they said i have placenta previa and my thyroid is high so that means baby might come early.. so I'm really scared the baby will want to come really early at home and I don't make it to the hospital in time for surgery.. what are my risks then?

I have a placenta previa..I am in my third trimester..no bleeding only abdominal pain..according to my doctor that did my 2 scan ..he said there's enough space for the baby to come out naturally..but I'm still scared
I'm 20 weeks and just found out i have this. Kinda nervous and hoping it'll resolve on its own. No bleeding episodes. Just trying to take it easy. Please pray for me 🙏🙏

I'm in my second trimester and just been diagnosed with a low lying placenta. Had a few bleeds but no paint. It is quire scary but I'm trying to stay calm and not push myself.

I am at the hospital at the moment as I had a bleeding again. This is the 3rd time I had a bleeding in 3 weeks. At my 15th week my doctor said I had low-lying placenta and had a bleeding at night but wasn’t admitted. I was given progesterone. The second time was I was on my 17th week and stayed in the hospital for 2 days. And now I’m on my 18th week had a bleeding again as I had a diarrhea and causes me to go up alot and go to the toilet. The doctor incharge at the emergency said I have a marginal placenta previa. Gave me buscopan for the stomach cramps, increase my progesterone from once a day to 3 times a day. I had a myomectomy laparoscopy 4 months before I got pregnant. This was not a planned pregnancy and I am excited and worried at the same time.

I have placenta previa, but the doctor never told me which one i had. Im 23 weeks, and they just made me aware of my condition. I've been having Intercourse without complications, luckily. Culturally I'm not suppose to have any type of blood transfusions or Cesarian section. This is devastated news to say the least. I'm just hoping it resolves it's self because I feel like i have no options.

I was diagnosed with complete placenta previa at my first ultrasound with a bleed in front of my internal os (9 weeks) I was told by the nurse that it should correct itself, but I shouldn't insert anything into my vagina. My OBGYN hasn't really given me any information and seemed reluctant to answer any questions I had. I've had a lot of difficulty in the last few weeks due to pressure (supposedly from the blood just sitting in my uterus according to OB because I haven't had any sort of external bleeding) I asked if they would be doing any extra ultrasounds to monitor the previa and she told me no. I just haven't felt very supported in dealing with this, especially considering the fact that I almost died giving birth to my first child (this is my second)
So I guess my question is would you have any clue why my OBGYN clinic doesn't seem very concerned and even somewhat dismissive when it comes to my anxiety about this?

I have had three pregnancies total , one successful and two miscarriages. For all three I was diagnosed with placenta previa and I also have incompetent cervix. Is there anything I could do previous to getting pregnant to prevent placenta previa ?
Thanks for asking! Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can do to prevent it. The placenta will sometimes attach to a part of the uterine wall where these is some scarring which may be why you keep developing a placenta previa. Good luck!

Hi I am 14 weeks and 4 days I so this happened to me just 2 days ago I needed to go restroom but when done. It was so much blood and clots that came with it. I then was rushed to the ER and they told me they didn’t know from what it was from because my baby is doing good heart beat and all but after watching this it makes me feel like it might be this I have because when they did the sonogram, she could not find the placenta then when she did it the other way she said she found it.. has anyone else heard that before or have been told that? I just don’t know why they couldn’t tell me it might be this because I only had blood when I went to the restroom and then it stopped but til the next day it was very light bleeding.. someone help because I am worried about my baby now. 😢 thanks

21 weeks with complete placenta previa. I had bleeding which has since resolved. Was placed on complete bedrest...does that mean no sitting and staying in bed ALL the time with the exception of trips to the bathroom?

My last 2 appointments I've been told I have PP, but it's partially over my cervix. I get cervix ultrasounds every week and I'm told to due pelvic rest and no sexual intercourse. But I've been having intercourse ( not everyday ) 😭🥺 Help? IM CURRENTLY 20 WEEKS AND 6 DAYS
