How HP+ Equipped Youth and Media to Create an Enabling Environment for Family Planning

This session will focus on how HP+ collaborated with media to build an enabling environment for family planning and sexual and reproductive health policy implementation and dialogue, increasing public information and advocacy. Approaches included partnerships with media organizations; training youth to produce reporting on family planning and reproductive health issues; helping media identify links between family planning and child marriage, COVID-19, gender-based violence, and health systems; and using media to change social norms, engage communities, and drive accountability.
