My First Birmingham Pen Company Unboxing: Three New Inks & Initial Impressions

I can’t wait to try these three new inks in a pen. I like the industrial vintage vibe of the labeling, packaging and oftentimes the names of the inks.

I haven’t ordered from Birmingham in over five years. I have that same nib clip. It’s in a journal and I need to look for it. Gorgeous inks, lovely bottle. Enjoy!

The large bottle does look really good, I love the gold ink, it looks as if it has a little bit of green in it too, not sure if I can see that properly though, we do have some small ink companies in the UK and it is nice to support them as you say, x

It does seem to have a bit of a green sheen now that I look at the dry sample swatch. It will be interesting to see how it works in a pen. 🙂

I have a few Birmingham inks . I cant say that I ever noticed the "jug of ink " 😂that they sell . Nice color selection , they all sort of coordinate .

The Tailings Pond has worked really well…I’m glad I have a jug of it.😂 I have it in my TWSBI diamond 580 smoke and it looks really good in that too.
