      I actually prefer to use the stairs cause the escalators feels like a waste of time. When there's only escalators to use I still walk or climb them cause I feel weird just standing still waiting to get to the top, so I really hate when I'm stuck behind people that don't move.

    Lmao there was probably a reason why they didn’t keep the sound when many people were on the stairs. Probably sounded like satan was about to be summoned 😂

    Bruh, I've been taking the stairs over escalators for years now. It started with me trying to prove a point of how it's faster to go by stairs to my family whilst on a vacation when I was a small kid. Now it kinda stuck, and I've been taking the stairs ever since 😂

    • @heatr3d597
      @heatr3d597 2 ปีที่แล้ว +23

      Still, it was *fun* trying to prove it was faster now wasn't it?

    • @mariejuana2993
      @mariejuana2993 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Same. In our local shopping centre I take the stairs and my mom takes the escalator and I ALWAYS make it to the top faster. The reason why I do it is because I dont want to fall into that millenial category of "They are just a bag of bones that know how to change channels on the TV". Its like being useless is one of my deepest fears. So I make an effort to be "less lazy" by opting to take the stairs over the escalator :) Using my God given legs, respectfully.

    • @sirwabaloo7930
      @sirwabaloo7930 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Looll I still always take the stairs instead of the escalator because there’s nobody blocking it so you can go faster. I also made a point to prove “hey look, I’m at the top first”, and I still kinda do that haha, i also like to spend less time doing things I don’t find fun so when I have to go somewhere on my own I usually just start running instead of walking

      For me its stairs vs elevator at my job. I can beat the elevator a lot of times when I take the stairs so I usually just use the stairs
